Perfect product - has soft close
Product is exactly what is described and is genuine. Fully sealed box and package inside with clear guidelines to install.Amazon packaging was horrible this time. The outer package wasn't sealed off completely and the opened corner section had some oil spill all over. Fortunately the product inside was not affected much, only the box got oily. Horrible experience opening the package though.

good quality product
Though a little small for my Parryware Elite model it serves the purpose. The soft closing is working well as of now. Good sturdy comfortable seat. If there were Silicon bushes under the 2nd seat which touches the commode, it would have made the seat much more stable and given a more sturdier seating. Though a little high on pricing, the quality justifies it.

Sturdy and good feel but may be too narrow seating area for some
So much better than the typical Cera or other off brand seat/covers and worth the price. It has a premium feel to it.But these come in different shapes and it is important to get the right fit not just go by the price or shape. The key is to get a size that allows the front and sides to overlap and extend a bit beyond the bowl outer rim and not let the edge of the seat sit on the bowl surface. Both shape and size determine this.If any part of the seat edge sits on the bowl surface, the supporting pads on which it should rest on the bowl may not rest on the bowl and this leaves the seat suspended with a space between the seat and the bowl in the middle. Eventually, it will crack here with the weight if this happens. It is better for it to be a bit oversized than undersized along the entire edge so it is firmly resting on its resting pads with no space between them and the bowl. The bolt fitting is adjustable and should fit most bowls, the shape match is more important. Avoid over-tightening the nut on the bolt with the included tool. It doesn't need to be "turn it until you are blue in the face tight". Do it by hand until it becomes snug and then use the tool just letting the leverage tighten it further without exerting too much pressure. Keep checking the alignment of the seat as you tighten to ensure it is symmetric and adjusted front and back to the bowl opening.Instructions are sparse but the video here is useful. They tell you to use the included spacer foam block while fitting the bolts but don't really tell you how to take it out after you have got the positioning! This particular model was the right fit for our Cera bowl but the seat itself has a narrower seating surface than other designs. This may or may not be a problem for you.

Very disappointed
It’s good brand and so is expensive . I purchased it as our original one was Kohler too, I am surprised that the accessorise supplied for fixing does not match . The right side and left side , one is black and other is white and does not fit . We have returned it .

KOHLER Beautiful product
I earlier bought cheap toilet seat from the local bazaar, thinking that it be enough to serve the purpose. It was not comfortable to sit on and it didn't last long either, because the iron rod or bolt or whatever, that was holding seat on the basin, got rusted and disintegrated. KOHLER products are costly may be because they put good materials and are stronger. In this case there is no iron rod, except the screws, and they've used plastic instead of iron rod which I'm sure will last longer. It is slightly out of size, which is obvious being of two different brand. Happy $#&!!@%g.
