I bought these ear plugs as range ear protection and could not be more pleased. The silicone material does a fantastic job of forming to my ear canal and preventing any loud noises from nearby shots from damaging my hearing. The detachable string is also a huge plus for me. When people with higher caliber firearms fire near me, I can tell that the shots are louder, but the silicone material blocks the more violent frequencys that may cause harm, so the shots don't actually cause any discomfort to my ears. I personally prefer that because it's more realistic.

The earplugs themselves are comfortable for daytime use and block sound pretty well. They do stick out of my ears a bit, making them not a good option for sleeping (or while wearing a hat!) The cord is disappointing, because anything that rubs against it (clothing, etc) radiates quite a racket into my ears. I find it very distracting (and impossible to sleep through).The type with the plastic cord doesn't radiate sound - they're just hard to find at a reasonable price in the shape I find comfortable for sleeping.

They are as comfortable as other foam ear plugs. They are great because they come in pairs and are connected, which can be detached if needed/wanted. Maybe more usage and scrutiny is called for but I honestly don't find a difference in noise cancelling quality from previous brands, but they certainly can help with muffling loud or painful sounds/noise.

They are comfortable, work well, and is very economical. My work provides your plugs, but I prefer these.

fit well, easy to use and carry. great for lawn work. I'd suggest this product to others.
