One of the Best Soundbar with Dolby Atmos
Just purchased this soundbar and currently it is one of the best soundbar with dolby atmos on a budget. Most Dolby Atmos soundbar that is available on the market are quite expensive. But this soundbar is quite good for my need; at first I want the arc ultra but upon seeing the Arc ultra it became clear that it is an overkill especially in my studio apartment. This soundbar is compact in size and easy to setup. However there are few things that need to remember before purchasing this, this soundbar don't have an upfiring speaker (it has a side firing speaker) and uses software processing to create Dolby atmos sound; also the soundbar don't have bluetooth only airplay. For me having no bluetooth is fine since this is mostly being used for playing games and watching movies.

Sounds amazing, setup app is horrible
Sounds great, HiFi great. Bought two surround speakers to pair with it, Horrible setup, and forgets them regularly so the whole horrible setup needs to be done again. The sound is very good though, even dialogue is the clearest I’ve heard

Love-hate relation with the 2nd gen Beam
Borrowed a unit from a colleague a while back to test it out. Didn't like it much. Stereo imaging was extremely narrow and sound was lacking dynamics. Borrowed a 2nd time after a firmware upgrade and boom, it sounded significantly better especially for movies. After the 2nd try, I decided to buy one for myself. Video content was sounding great for a solo subless bar, dialogue was assuringly clear. Night mode worked for most part but speech enhancement was a hit or miss. When I started to use for music, I recalled why I dislike it so much. Music while registering all notes, sounded boxy and lifeless, turned off the loudness enchancement, it sounded a touch better but it was a hassle to toggle it on and off across different content. Stereo imaging wasnt great and decided to fall back to my bookshelves for music. The beam is now only used for podcasts or bgm. One more thing, the volume level resets to 0 randomly across different apps on my 2 year Sony tv. Annoying but still bearable.

Easy setup, amazing sound!
I own 4 other Sonos speakers and they all work together seamlessly and sound amazing. I tested the audio of this in a store and was amazed. Once I got it setup, TV audio is great. Use an iOS to setup part of surround sound. I used my iPhone and walked around the room as it made noise. Sounds amazing with movies, I'll probably add a sub which is easy. Music sounds incredible with rest of speakers, happy here.

Big step up in home cinema experience
A solid upgrade for audio quality for my Sony Bravia 7. At first, I haven’t noticed any difference when I turned it on. But then in comparison with the native sound of the TV (which isn’t bad by any means, 4 speakers making 40watt) it was so obvious that the Sonos is just miles ahead: - Dialogs are crystal clear, I can hear every single word, every single whisper, every single distant chant. I rewatched some of my favourite movies, and it felt like I watch them for the first time - so much difference this sound bar produces. The initial setup was nice and easy, and streaming music from my iPhone works just fine. It’s rather small - I have nothing to compare it with, but it easily fits under my TV - although it sits on the TVs legs hence I was worried that it could be a bit wobbly. It isn’t. Overall, I wasn’t sure if this was worth spending money on a soundbar - it’s not so expensive by audiophile means but it was a significant investment for me, and I’m not disappointed so far.
