This type of shears seems (so far) to cut better than the anvil style. Maybe its because it is new and sharp, but so far so good on this product.

We ran around to a lot of stores looking for what he wanted. Couldn’t find, so I had my phone out and said let’s look on Amazon!He saw this pair and said that’s them! That’s what I am looking for! Ergonomic, easy to hold, great grip, sharp, easy to lock! He says best ones he ever owned!!!! Happy man!!!

Th first time I bought these shears, I thought the shears are great and ordered a two pack.The day I received the new shears, the older Gonicc bypass shear spring broke and I haven't been able to find replacements.Excellent shear except for the spring.

Nice heft, sturdy hardware, very easy to hold. I have small hands, so was worried these might be too wide when opened to hold comfortably. They are not. Fits in my hand easily and no problems getting a grip to snip. Cuts beautifully. Lock is a little stiff, but probably because they're brand new - not a problem to open, though, and holds well when clamped. I wasn't really familiar with this brand, but took a chance based on reviews. If you are also wondering, I can say, based on these shears, it appears to be a quality brand.

First pair of pruning shears I've ever purchased and likely the last.

Love these pruners. They feel great in the hand. Cut through stems, vines, sticks, branches with ease. Highly recommend!

My husband and I like these. They are pretty comfortable in hand. They make cuts easily. I find myself reaching for these pruners instead of my old favorite ones simply because the grip on the handles is very comfortable and easy to hold on to with or without gloves on. I only gave it 4 stars on the easy to use rating because I have weak hands and the lock is hard for me to lock and unlock. That being said the lock is very good and most people will have no problem at all with it. We are glad we purchased these 2 pruners, the 1/2" for me and the 3/4" for my husband.
