The Godox MF-R76 Macro Ring Flash will definitely aide you in achieving that goal.Godox has become a common name in the world of photography and they offer quality products in varying price ranges. For the money, the MF-R76 is in a league of its own and it does a great job at enhancing all of your up close macro shoots.The flash intensity is adjustable which is what you want in order to customize the light output to your needs. The flash ring is circular but it’s comprised of two semi circle halves, each of which can be operated independently (one or both and each with separate levels of lighting intensity). That’s nice bang for your buck right there.The flash comes with adapter mounting rings from small to large millimeter size lenses so you’ll have no problem using it right out of the box.After some trial and error as with anything new, you’ll have to dial in your settings to get the effect you’re after. Once you do that it becomes second nature using this ring flash just as it is when using your strobe or speedlight flash.One of the things I like about Godox is that a lot of their components are interchangeable and work with one another seamlessly.
