It might work, but mine didn't
I was not impressed with this unit. It could be because mine was clearly used or repackaged in some way before I got it, there was obvious dirt around the threads of the weatherproof cable squeezers, and the packaging did not seem right, but I can't be sure if the generic box is just how it is. The problem I had, is while the LEDs in the input and output ends all indicated it was working, the IP camera would never boot or pass traffic. The IP camera I was trying to use this with was AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera, which I admit is a little strange seeing as how it says POE+, but actually needs a 50W POE supply, likely due to the internal heater and/or anti fog fans. Note: Normal POE is 15W, POE+ is 30W, and Axis is calling their injector "High PoE midspan, 60W" so Axis might be doing something special with their injector (which is 50W or 60W depending on the date you bought the camera, or the sticker you believe is accurate) and perhaps that just isn't compatible with this extender.

Not generous with the 100 meters. use a cheap indoor unit and put it in a box.
Did not have as much range as hoped. Ended up having to use in place of an existing (MUCH cheaper) indoor unit and putting the indoor unit in a weatherproof box where this veracity was to go.

Short Lived
It worked well when it worked. They both mysteriously stopped working after about 8 months.

After only using this device for about month, it stopped working and is being returned.
