When this package arrived I looked at the size of the box and decided I had made a mistake. After removing the item and actually seeing the common sense methods used to make a truly portable table top music stand I ordered a second one. This is the fourth table top music stand I have ordered and now the only one that I bother to take with me. Holds the music great with the front adjustable arms and supports a common song book without any problem. Highly recommended.

Got this for my son and I to hold sheet music and/or a music lesson book. It does what it should. It is very light weight. It will fit in a backpack or gig bag. However, with that light duty comes a slight feeling of flimsiness. I do think it will hold up over time, but it feels flimsy. The ting for us is though that we didn't want t big traditional floor music stand. This is a nice alternative for my son who likes to sit in a video chair at ground level to practice his bass.

I don't often rely on a bookstand to get my work done, but I do want to have one to hold a book or some printouts straight occasionally. I think this one meets my expectation after weighting the pros and cons. Basically, if you are looking for something super sturdy, heavy duty, this is not the one for you. I don't think it can hold any book larger than the one presented in the images My only complain is that although you can adjust the incline of the book stand, there is no mechanism to hold the angle fixed. So buy it if you know what you want.

Good cheap price and holds the Essential Elements Bass lesson book. As long as your child will have the book propped open to one page and won't be turning pages, this is a fabulous tabletop stand. I can see tho that if you had to turn pages alot it might be considered flimsy, but it works perfectly for an 8 year old just learning.

This stand is so perfect for my son. He’s learning the piano and still practicing on a keyboard in various areas of the house. He can toss this portable and light stand in his music bag and take it anywhere. It’s easy to expand once needed. I’m so glad I didn’t get a bigger, bulkier one.

Easy to carry to jam where we have conference tables. Will not hold book but does individual sheets well. I am happy that I no longer have to cart a collapsing music stand around to struggle with. Love the product!

When i first received this I thought it was way too small to actually be useful. Turns out, it works really well! My kids use this to hold up music sheets and also for art by placing their drawing books in here so that they can copy the pictures.

I think this is a fair product for the price. The arms and legs which fold in and out can be a bit stiff, but once they're in place, it's good to go. Nice and lightweight and compact. Good for use on a tabletop for casual practice.
