Surprisingly Amazing Guitar for a Great Price
I did not purchase this guitar through Amazon but in person at Guitar Center. The prices are similar except for 2016 Labor day sale where they gave 15% off.Anyway, Ive been playing for 16 years and own an Ibanez GX, Epiphone Spec 2, and Schecter C1 with Duncan pickups. I play all styles but have been focusing on guitar virtuosos such as Jason Becker, Yngwie, John Petrucci. This ties into my review..This $400 guitar destroys my $800 Schecter and $150 Spec2 and GX. This guitar could and should cost at least $700. Its got 3 knobs, one that you can pull out to switch to a single rail humblebucker or press in to use both humbuckers. Great for getting that British rock tone or switching to Classic Rock. Locking tuners are great and its got a really smooth lever tone select. It feels light and just perfect for my hand. I used to cramp a bit playing Jason Becker's stuff but the neck thickness and the fretboard depth is contoured to where my hand is competely comfortable.Couple of things..There are currently 5 different colors, I picked transparent blue and it is gorgeous. The cable input is not your standard click feel. It will feel like its snug. The input is also similar to a strat or tele (angled) but located near the bottom strap hook. When you pull the 3rd knob to use a single rail, if you don't pull it out to its furthest point, the knob will keep spinning and you will be unable to adjust the tone volume(IT IS NOT BROKEN)Anyway, match it with a Line 6 Spider 4 amp and it is a killer combo. For sound reference to lead tone and insane settings on amp with my current setup, listen to Jason Becker's "Altitudes". It sounds exactly like the lead guitar.Never thought about getting a Mitchell Electric but I do not regret it one bit and neither will you. I LOVE THIS GUITAR

Mitchell, a new breed of excellent value and workmanship.
Awesome guitar! TUSQ XL, locking tuners, fast neck, coil split humbuckers. Neck is slim and fast and the finish is excellent. Frets are leveled and smooth. I have an LP, a Strat, an SG, and this is the one I play all the time now. Perfectly well balanced and it sounds great. Did not buy it on Amazon and did NOT get a discount or anything else for posting the review. Hate it when I see people turning in reviews for compensation. Anyways, buy the guitar you will not regret it.
