Great Feeder Worth The Money
This is one well built feeder and well worth the money. Squirrels decided to devour my poly feeder barrel so I decided to get one that they could not devour. Easy to assemble and works like a charm. I bought the internal funnel for the bottom of the barrel to keep corn from spoiling around the edges. I also bought and installed the feeder remote control. All one needs to do is follow directions and it all goes together like a charm. I will get the poly lid before I need to add corn in a couple of weeks. The split ring and recessed barrel lid does collect a little water. I don't hunt, I have it in my back yard to feed deer. We have a great herd that comes around to eat, lick the mineral rock and have a drink of fresh water. I really have no big concerns about this feeder, it should last for years to come.

The best feeder on the market
I love these feeders so much I now own 4 of them. They are better than the plastic ones. The legs are solid and the feeder is easy to remove the top and I have never had any leaks. The feeder motor is by far the easiest to program and use. THANK YOU!

Does not include internal feed funnel.
Use this for spreading corn on a food plot. Works well ,varmints can't get to the spinner plate in the feed spreader assembly.Only problem was the feed funnel ,which prevents excess corn from laying on the barrel bottom and getting moldy, was not included. There are aftermarket funnels available ,but for the price of this product ,one should have been included.

Good feeder, well built!
Well built, have had it out in the woods for three months now spinning for 5 seconds 2x a day...and the duel batteries are still at 100% charge. Granted it is virginia and the weather isn't all that harsh. I have had to fill it up once so far with corn and I went ahead and purchased the interior funnel right away. No jamming issues and it seems to be criter free. No complaints.

It's a good one!
After reading lots of reviews and looking at numerous other feeders, I chose this one a couple of months ago. I couldn't be happier. I've paired this up with the solar charger and it's been going like a champ!!!! It throws a lot more corn than my old feeder so it's taken me awhile to get the timing just right. The only thing I would like to see changed is a hinged top. It's a pain in the patushka to be on top of a ladder and have to deal with a top that isn't attached somehow to the feeder. However, it still deserves 5 stars from me! I will buy again!

Varmint-proof wildlife feeder
This wildlife feeder is all-metal, including the lid, so it is squirrel-proof. It is sturdy and works well. The only complaint we have is that the legs have no feet on them, so we removed the feet from our previous feeder and they worked on this one. Without feet, the legs just sink into the dirt.

Not a good experience for me
Control panel worked fo 30 seconds before dying. Moultrie customer service told me to go buy another 6volt battery with 5amps. I explained that the battery wasn’t the issue, and the lady told me it fixes it about 80% of the time. Or I could drive to my hunting club(4hr round trip) and remove the feeder kit to mail back for replacement. I asked if they would mail me the new feeder kit, and I would mail the faulty one after I swapped them out to save time and save me from making 2 round trips to the hunting club. I was told they wouldn’t do that - try the new battery first. Begrudgingly, I bought another $19 battery (with 5amps this time), and I went to a local store and bought another $85 feeder kit (I knew that was the issue) since I couldn’t wait 3 weeks - my hunting season would expire. FYI, when you ready the literature on this product, it doesn’t state that you have to have a 6volt 5amp battery. The battery didn’t fix the issue - DUH, but the new feeder kit did. So I now own a feeder that finally works, 3 extra 6volt batteries, and one defective feeder kit. If you purchase one of these, just pray it works correctly when you first set it up. Otherwise..........

NOT Made Of Plastic And That's A Good Start
I bought Moultries Pro Elite two years ago. After the lid was chewed thru by raccoons (and then the spinner electronics ruined due to water running thru the corn tank) I purchased a new spinner and lid (over half the cost of a new unit). In one month time, the raccoons chewed thru the new lid (fortunately rainwater did not get to the electronic spinner assembly). I just put this metal corn feeder up a couple days ago. So far I have the impression it will last much longer than the plastic one. I agree with other reviews, the $25 plastic funnel is a must, not an accessory as Moultrie presents it (so plan on adding $25 to the cost of this metal feeder). Bottom line is that the test of time will still have to happen with my new Pro Magnum feeder. But my suggestion is if you have raccoons in the area (and you do) NEVER buy a plastic feeder, it might take them a while, but they'll get thru it.
