Would you mix this product with the Pillow Soft Curls product?

From my experience, "custards" are usually white or clear-ish white. So when mixing it with gel, it leaves a dandruff-looking mess in your hair. But this custard is clear and I do not see that it would cause that problem. The custard itself offers a good hold so I'm not sure why you would mix it with a "soft curls" gel.

So what exactly is this product? What does it compare to? (Hairspray, mousse, ?)

This product help curls your hair,its a curl enhancer,whether wet or dry. It do not hold the hair so its not a mousse or a regular hairspray.

Good for a toddler with ringlets?

It's a natural product. It doesn't leave your hair crunchi make sure you use a little bit. It also helps with frizzy hair.

Will this product work on fine, soft hair?

Of course. Fine hair should work even better since you won't need to use very much product.
