Great first omegaverse experience
Baby (yes, that is her legal name) is a late bloomer. Usually Omegas start perfuming in their late teens, but Lola is now in her mid-twenties, which means she needs to find a pack stat, before her heat begins! A chance encounter with a Beta with a strong Alpha (apple-pie) smell wafting off of him, and she may have found just her place.Look, if you know anything about wolf anatomy (did anyone else watch that animal procreation video in high school?) you know a little bit of what’s involved here; a whole lot of animal instincts, smells, and *locking* together. In this version of the Omegaverse, the characters aren’t shifters, so they stay human the whole time (with slightly different biology to our own) and I think I liked that aspect.I loved how sweet Baby’s guys were, here. Kathryn Moon always has the sweetest MMCs for her heroines. And also, holy 🌶️🌶️🌶️!!! Let’s just say the “heat” was coming off the page! 😘I will say I did have a little difficulty keeping all the characters straight with each character having two names: their “real” name and their “club” name. Not to mention, two of her guys seemed to have somewhat similar personalities, at least to me, but by the end I was able to keep track of everything.Look out for:⚠️ Sexual Assault (implied + attempted)

Omegaverse MC need I say more
I was hesitant to start the sweetverse because I have seen so many reviews about how good it was and it made me nervous (I don't know why) but I'm so glad I finally picked it up and read it. I know what I like and this was everything I love about omegaverses. From the unexpected omega trope to the center for facilitating meeting packs and a hesitant alpha add in the Motorcycle Club and I was lapping up everything Kathryn was putting down. I especially loved reading about all of the binds Baby was making with all of the Howlers.I was not expecting the turn at the end exactly the way it went down but damn was it a good one and made it to where I couldn't put the book down until I finished it and new what happened with Baby and her Howlers.I'm looking forward to jumping into the book in the sweetverse.

One of my new favorites, going to get this in paperback too!
2022 Audiobook reviewI was so excited to pick up this bad boy during the huge Audible end of summer sale this year and it did not disappoint. I think the only thing that hung me up was these are 2 of my favorite narrators for this author's bestie with her Steel Demons MC audiobooks haha so I kept thinking of those characters while listening. Despite that these narrators do a fabulous job with the characters, bringing them to life and bringing their emotions through the audio. I think the male narrator did a better job of being the different guys in the harem, the MC. and the other side characters. His voice tends to be great for the gruffer guy so Bullet was pure magic, but he also did a great job with the others, especially with the more evil guys that got their karmic justice in the end. The female narrator does a great job showing Baby's tenacity, meekness, and survivor mentality despite everything thrown at her. I imagined her voice different in my head but it was still an enjoyable listen and I will listen again in the future because I love the Sweetverse this author has cultivated ❤️❤️❤️Original ebook 2019 reviewI was definitely pleasantly surprised by this new book by Kathryn Moon!! I have read her Librarians Coven series and her Summerland series and I really enjoyed them, but this one blew it out of the park. I loved everything about it. I had some family stuff happen and this was an amazing escape and I stayed up late many nights continuing to read when I really should have been asleep. I read a lot of omegaverse but in the M/M space, not with a female omega. I really did like this and thought it was done very, very well.I really loved Baby (and all the nicknames she got from the guys!) and her guys were amazing. I think I fell in love with them in turns, so I cant even pick my top 3 haha. I loved how cuddly Bullet was and how he taught her to protect herself. I love Seth for protecting her in the bar and being an amazing beta. I loved MacKenzie because I always fall for the nerdy ones but duuuuude in the bedroom, he was FIERCE! Tornado to me I think was the unsung one of the bunch. I loved his vulnerability and kinda wished we had more. Oh and he can cook curry for me anytime 😉. Oh and Ryan, I loved how he stepped up when he needed to, didnt let anyone dictate his relationship with Baby, and was just an all around amazing caretaker (and sexy to boot!). I think I kinda lost interest in Jonah and he didnt redeem himself enough with what he put Baby and the others through. But loving 5 out of the 6 guys is a total win in my book haha. I also loved the girl betas and the other alphas in the club, esp. Chef. I think Kathryn did a phenomenal job making me fall for these characters, root for them even though they aren't real, and beg for more even though this is a standalone (for Baby and her crew). I cannot wait to see what Kathryn does for Lo and hopefully gives her some amazing men to help heal her heart after the horrible things she must has gone through with the other MC crew.Oh and totally saw the baddie coming, and WAS SO HAPPY HE GOT HIS COMEUPPANCE! Baby totally kicked butt and I could not be happier with how everything unfolded and ended. Ahhh can't say enough about this book. Definitely in my top 10 reads over the last year (I cant say this year since its only the 6th day into it, not giving it enough credit haha).I think my only smidgen of a complaint was the various guys and their nicknames. It wasn't consistent with using the club name vs. their actual names and it kept changing all the time so I had to keep referring to the name and smell list in the back. At one point I wrote them down in a notebook so I wouldn't be confused. I think if it had swapped less it would have been easier. I know Baby and the guys call them different things, it was just hard for me sometimes to remember that Chef was actually Jeff haha.So all in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this book and am dying for more. I think this is Kathryn's best work so far and she should continue to wow us with this world she has brilliantly created ❤️

enjoyable
This is one of those books that you can read for all of the sweet moments and there’s enough spice to keep you warm. It’s the perfect book for a palette cleanser especially if you read darker books. I loved the characters and will definitely check out the linked books to this one

The Best A/B/O Book?
I absolutely loved this book! The FMC is kick ass, smart, dedicated to her family, and capable of holding her own. She avoids any 'annoying, helpless FMC' trope effortlessly. The world building and thought that went into this universe is clear from the start; not just your cookie cutter a/b/o. The alpha MMCs are diverse and loveable, I genuinely couldn't pick a favorite if I tried (and I did try for this review, I couldn't lol). But it isn't just the main characters that are well done! Side characters make themselves totally at home in your heart and I couldn't wait for the next scene where they showed up. The FMC's name was cringy to me when I first picked up the book but after a few chapters I can honestly say it just suits her. My ONLY downfall with this book is that there are a lot of characters to remember and most have two names that alternate in usage, I kind of wish I had kept notes from the start. I cannot wait to get my hands on everything else Kathryn has written!

3.5**
Let me start I've only read two book previous that sweetverse or omegaverse and I did enjoyed them very different to my usual reads.I liked this plot but I didn't get sucked in. I can't explain why, prob as I'm new to this trope. We meet Baby who just found out she is an Omega... She finds and claims a packing only no d's with few of them as the other want to bind with betas. I understood this... And I liked the m/m content as for me it was mild and the focus was always in Baby...But... Something just didn't sit right with mr. I found myself skim reading in parts and getting confused with the real names of her alphas and their road names as they were both used.

Entediante

Red Hot and Sweet
I really enjoyed this book. Baby is a 26 year old beta who is out on the town with her friend Lola, when she is suddenly hit by the transformation into omega. It is a late transformation and it rocks her world. She now has to chose a pack to belong to.I really enjoyed the author’s world building. It was narrow in focus, solely relating to mating habits of the alphas, betas and omegas but it was nicely constructed. There were hints all the way through that these were shifters, but there was no explicit explanation of their race/species. This is why I said that the world building had a very narrow focus.Despite the lack of an expansive world, the narrow constraints made what was discussed clear and uncluttered. This a Reverse Harem book and as such a lot of the focus to the storyline is around the personalities involved, and their interactions. The pack Lola selects is not wealthy, nor is their home particularly safe, but she is drawn to them. Baby is not a typical omega, because she believed herself to be beta for so long. She was not sheltered and protected. She was strong and independent and this makes her quite different from other omegas. There is a lot of hot sex in this book. A LOT! If you don’t enjoy reading about sex, you won’t enjoy this book as it takes up a chunk of pages, but the emotional building was done well and I found myself alternating between fanning my face and smiling indulgently at how sweet they all were. This is a great escapist novel that I recommend for a hit of heat, or a smattering of sugar.
