Does the job!
We are currently renting a condo and the door to our apartment has a large opening underneath. We found we were getting flies inside the house whenever someone left the hallway door open for too long. Our cats were also able to get their paws under the door and I didn't like that. I did a quick search and found this item on Amazon. The part was inexpensive so I figured I would give it a try.Installation was easy. First just cut the door sweep to the length you need. I had to take a couple inches off. A regular scissors is good enough to cut it. Then put it up to the door to see how high up you need to place it. Once you know where it needs to go, peel a small amount of tape off the back and place it on the door. I found peeling the tape a little at time insured that the sweep was high enough across the entire width of the door. Some reviewers were saying that the adhesive starts to come off after a while. I noticed this happening after I tested the door a few times(over carpet). To stop this from happening I just put a few thin nails into the door sweep. This seems to have fixed the problem. If you don't want to use nails I am sure you can use a stronger mounting tape.Overall, I think this is a good product if you want a quick and cost effective way of sealing up an opening underneath a door. There are plenty of other products that are built better and probably do a better job, but for the price this worked for me.

It's does what I need it to.
I've had this on my door for nearly a month and a half now. I bought it to keep any draft from coming in under the door, and it is doing just that. Like some of the other reviews, it started peeling off on one side after about 2-3 weeks. BUT it seems to only have peeled off about an inch and hasn't gone any further since. For what I paid for it, I can't really complain.

Worth every cent.
Absolutely necessary item for home insulation. These are inexpensive, provide a genuine method of minimizing drafts. We actually surrounded two doors with these to cut way down on drafts from those two doors. It was an amazing difference. These can be cut to length for customization. I am using a white version of this to deal with a window draft; haven't done it yet due to reach, but it's scheduled for that space. Very pleased with these. We now own at least 10 of these and will get more soon. Going to stop a minor draft in basement next.

Cheap and did the trick
Just needed something in my shop door. Tires of leaves and dust blowing under door. Actually got one at Home Depot but must have left in cart in parking lot. Too lazy to go back so ordered for basically same price. Was easy to cut to proper width and the tape appears to be adequate. Since I get a fair anmount of moisture at that door I decided to run 4 screws thru it to give additional support to the door.

It works....
It gets the job done, but the adhesive material is sub-par. I would have preferred a kit I could nail to the door. Then it might have stayed on. This one keeps falling off at the sides. Since we used it for a back door to keep a draft out in the winter, it worked, because we didn't use the door much. Now that we are using the door more it is falling off. Plan on it as one season of use.

Stay Out Cold Air!
I have actually purchased at least 7 of these this winter for use in both my son and daughter-in-law's house and mine also. We have never been disappointed in Frost King products! Every door we place these on has had at least some cold air leaking in at the bottom and this winter, being colder than usual, there definitely wasn't any issues in feeling such! We feel that these really do help in making a person's house more energy efficient but needs to also be used in conjunction with other weatherproofing measures such as weatherstripping, caulking, etc. This is my first winter in a newly purchased house but I'm happy to report that my heating usage has been less than half of prior owner's!

Door Sweep - Easy solution
This is simple to put on and you can cut to fit your door, I only need to cut a little off the end and it fits the front of my door perfectly and keeps all kinds of smell from entering my apartment. :) People cook a lot late at night in my apart building so I really wanted something that will filter that out of my own apartment as I don't like it smelling like a restaurant the next day! I bought two one for my bedroom door and the other for the front door. I have carpet so you have to stick it really firmly - press into it otherwise it will come off after awhile. Hardwood floor will probably work the best less resistance. For carpet floors I made sure to tape it just touching the carpet so that the friction is not so intense although it doesn't seal of completely but most of the smells are not able to get in. Hope it helps.
