Highly Effective Product
I was skeptical about this at first and thought it might not work, however, I have grown 3 gigantic tomato plants using this system and have been amazed at just how easily they are to maintain. Simple set up, I used some small diameter bamboo to build a cage per the directions and this allowed for the growing plant to have an anchor from which thrive. Highly recommend this product.

Tomato Plants love these
Could not get the red ones from another Mfg. in time for planting due to availability. So I purchased some of these. Function is the same, but the plastic is a bit thinner. Durability won’t likely be as good as others, but these are fine at the price point. Note in photo the cage has caused the unit to split a little. Won’t affect the function, but the thinner plastic allowed for this. So far, our tomato plants are thriving and growing fast and strong with this style of planter.

It states it features water spikes, but it does NOT!!!!
Misleading features are posted, these are very small and not worth the price. Had 3 more sets in my cart, but will not be ordering!

The product photos are decieving!
The product photos show this planter sitting on a table with a plant inside. That is NOT how these planters work. I have two issues with these self-watering planters.1. There are large watering spikes on the bottom. This means you can't put it on a table, like they have it. It HAS to go into soil.2. There is no bottom to the center part where their tomato plant is.Knowing what I know now, these would be great for anyone with an actual garden bed. I only have potted plants, so this system is useless to me. Do your research before you order these and make sure they will work for you!

Easy once you know what to do
At first when this arrived I was taken-a-back because there was no user manual and I could not figure out how to use it, until I spent hours and days analyzing the photos they used to advertise the product, looking at what they sent me, and fiddling with it. I was about to give up because this system did not make sense to me. However, after a few days I finally figured it out. My attached images have instructions in them that matches what I am sharing. This watering system is meant to be a little bit more helpful by:(1) having the system pushed into the soil, whether it is in a grow bag, a container, a raised bed, on a bag of potting soil, or directly in the ground, to limit how much water it being used and wasted;(2) having a big reservoir of water to slowly feed the soil of water to allow the roots to grow bigger and stronger, and to stop from having root rot because of over watering or too dry from under watering;(3) and I can see that it is also a trellis of sorts to allow your plants that need a trellis to grow up as well as wider because of the control it has in protecting the plant from high winds.I think this is fine if you want to plant only one plant in one grow bag or one container but in a raised bed I see it using up valuable space that plants can use. Directly in ground would be ok if you have enough acreage. I will be using the three I have for my tomato plants this spring in my containers.
