Perfect for kids
Tired of hunting for paper to let your kiddo draw? Frustrated with finding your printer empty and paper strewn about the house? This is the answer! Reusable, lockable (so the drawing can't accidentally be erased), portable, and fun! I got this for my 5 year old and it's been a regular companion for almost a year now! Even though the string attaching the pen broke, I still give it all the stars because it has a place to store the pen so we haven't lost it, and it's easy enough to add a new string on! Definitely recommend it!

Great Tool for Kids
This LCD writing tablet is a great tool for children who are just learning to write their name, numbers and address. I really like that it is portable so that we can take it with us to practice writing while running errands or visiting relatives. It will work well for study time after school to practice writing and work on the new skills from the day at school. I love that this is environmentally friendly so that we are not wasting paper or using messy crayons or chalk. There is absolutely no clean up with this little tablet and the little ones can also use it to doodle or draw pictures. The quality is good, it does not feel flimsy and operates on a 3V battery. I would recommend this product to others for the ease of use and convenience of this tablet.

Decent toy
It is small enough to through in a bag to take out and about. My twins enjoy it. The batteries don’t seem to last long but that could be the brand.

Made a great Christmas gift!
Bought for one of my kids as a Christmas gift. It's the one toy he's played with the most.

REVISED (Several issues resolved)
Very glad I opened this up and tried it out before handing it to my grandson to get frustrated with.1. Colors aren't very bright - which in itself isn't a huge deal - it's just a doodle pad anyway.2. VERY lightweight - I suspect it could easily be bent/broken literally in half with not much effort.3. First I was trying to find an on-off button because since it DID say it uses a battery - I thought you would need to turn it on. When I could not find an on-off switch or button anywhere - I just started drawing on it with the stylus - which worked with no problem :) So it's "always on" EDIT: There IS an on-off switch - on the back - center-top. Nowhere on the packaging does it tell you this - and like I mentioned - you can draw with it on or off - but the trick to ERASING is you have to switch to ON.4. That would explain why the battery (which is apparently the only way to get the erase button to actually erase)must have been dead from the start. EDIT: After buying new batteries, replacing - and still not getting it to erase - I looked harder all over the front and back for any additional hints - and that's when I found the very tiny on-off switch. Which was (as it should be) in the OFF position. I shifted it to ON , pressed the Erase button and voila - it did what it was supposed to do. So now I have enough replacement batteries to very much outlive the life of this little gadget but hey, it works.5. Found the directions on the box - to unscrew the tiny (TINY - like eyeglass screw tiny) screw on the battery cover (AH that's what that is ) and pull the battery out to replace it.NOTE: do this carefully - because the sliver of plastic that pulls the battery out is thin and frail and if you break it - you'll never be able to get batteries out!NOTE 2: I thought "thank goodness I have CR2032 batteries handy" (doesn't everyone???) only to discover that the batteries THIS gadget takes are CR2025 - which is even thinner. Which I don't have. And I swear it doesn't say what batteries to use ANYWHERE on the package.6. I thought well, maybe just taking the battery out and putting it back in will give the erase button a nudge - but nope. It must be completely dead. SEE EDIT on #4Sooooo..... unless I buy some CR2025 batteries I guess I'll never know if I get to make 2 drawings on this crazy little contraption! NEXT!OH - at least it came with stickers. So grandson will have stickers to stick all over the house anyway :)
