Nice basic SSD for bare-minimum upgrade for laptop with factory-installed mechanical HDD or SSHD
No complaints. All positive. Caught a nice price on a used or open-box unit here on Amazon. Arrived on or ahead of schedule, and functioned as expected/intended without any hidden defects or glitches (no bad sectors, or other red flags indicated by trusted diagnostic utilities). Utilized for a fresh Windows install on a refurbished i5-gen3 laptop. The drive capacity is really the minimum to acceptably run a fresh full install of non-modified 64-bit Windows OS (7, 8, 8.1, 10 in particular), hold adequately sized paging file for full 16GB of installed RAM, with a core set of additional user-specific software, with just enough space left for a bit of personal file storage, system and web cache, etc. Not the fastest SSD, nor the slowest, among SATA3 drives. Given the barely perceptible difference between a "faster" and "slower" write and read speed within this class of drives - I'm satisfied as long as it's a healhty drive with durability and longevity. For me, this drive was fully satisfactory, according to those criteria.

Initially fine, but two for two failures in less than a year.
I purchased two of the 60GB Drevo X1's and used them in Windows 10 machines running 24/7. Both drives have now failed. (One lasted about nine months, the other almost ten.)They will still boot and they read well enough to image the drive on to a replacement (+1 star for that), but using them will randomly hang the PC (I assume some sort of SATA transaction never completes or times out). Initially the freezes were occasional (and I swapped RAM, CPUs, changed from WIn7 to Win10, etc. trying to isolate the problem) until I finally cloned the Drevo on to a new Sandisk SSD and the problem went away. About a month later the second computer with the Drevo drive started developing the same symptom (a complete system 'hang' at random invervals) that would happen with increasing frequency over about a week until it would barely boot. I sector copied the Drevo drive contents to an old Hitachi hard drive and replaced the X1 with the mechanical drive and the machine has been fine since, so I'm confident the Drevo's were the problem. So, these might be an OK drive if you only use the computer sparingly (or maybe if you only read data and don't perform writes? I suspect the wear leveling finally crapped out), but if you want reliability-- spend a little more for a Samsung or Sandisk SSD instead.

Love the case sticker that came with it too
I had never heard of Drevo until recently when I purchased their 60GB X1 SSD. I have to say that I was very impressed with the tight packaging, with Anti-Static bag, and solid build quality of this drive. Almost the exact dimensions as the many Samsung 850 EVOs I already have. Love the case sticker that came with it too. With the 60GB version you are sacrificing a lot of write speed, but the read speed is solid at 500 MB/s. This thing makes a great boot drive, and for under $40 its a no brainer if you ask me.As for longevity, I don't yet know. I'll see how it goes and update this review.

Perfect for crypto mining rig
Solid state is the way to go. The speed and ability to handle constant read/write access without a threat to mechanical parts (read/write heads, etc.) is wonderful. In particular, I used this one in my first crypto mining rig. I don't really need a lot of disk space, I just need it to run the OS and the mining software. And to store a cool background picture. Plenty of space here to run what I need it to run (most of the power comes from the GPUs). So far, it's held up well!

well made and fast.
I have 4 other ssd's by San Disk and wanted a small drive to use as a back up drive for a new OS system I am trying out, This is very low cost and quality is good, but it does seem to run hotter then my other ssd's.I am using a micro desk top computer with no internal fan so not sure if the heat would be a problem if run all day.Other then that I like this drive a lot.

Great SSD
Great switch coming from an HDD very fast boot times and a overall faster experience. Though if your are going to buy, get the one with more storage capacity as this one does not come with very much and will fill up quickly if your are not careful and will cause stability issues in the os itself.

So Far So Good
Everything works good but this drive is somewhat slow compared to other SSD but still faster then Hard Drives.Windows 10 and all Linux distros will work on this drive! Please note I am running Sata II but I will upload Sata III Benchmark Soon!

Super quick with Ubuntu
I dropped it into my old netbook and made a media server. Had trouble getting to recognize and partitioned but it eventually worked. Super quick with Ubuntu, very snappy.

Solid drive for general use
I bought this to replace the boot drive on my server: I'm using Windows Home Server 2013 and accessing the dashboard remotely was a bit sluggish. The faster access times from this drive did help a bit and the server itself boots up much faster now, although it's not something I need to do very often. The server is on 24x7 and so far has not given rise to any issues, even though the drive itself is sandwiched amongst an octet of rotating drives in an extremely small chassis.I don't know if it's up to the challenge of more data intensive use, but as a drive supporting an OS and a few apps on a server, it's exactly what I hoped it would be.

Attractively priced and works great so far
I needed a small SSD to work as a boot drive for my home server and bought the 60GB which is big enough for Windows and some other core programs. It can also be fitted into a laptop if needed. I normally get my SSD's from brand names I recognise like Samsung or Kingston, but bought this one because it was so attractively priced. Turns out I had no reason to be weary as it works great. I haven't done any benchmarks but I can't tell the difference between this and my more expensive Samsung's in day to day use. If you want a fast SSD without breaking the bank I'd definitely recommend this. Windows will boot so much quicker over using a traditional HDD and programs installed on the SSD will start quickly and smooth. Not to mention it's also completely silent!I guess the true test for a product like this is its longevity, but so far it works great and it comes with a three year warranty so I'm not worried.

Great Read speed/Poor write speed
Great value for it's price, However don't expect too get exactly what you pay for.I purchased 2 of these at the exact same time and found i have a difference of 17+mb/s write speed, a huge difference when the 2 drives only have a max advertised write speed of 90mb/s and even then these are still being let down. Considering one of my drives is nearly 1/3 slower then it's advertised speed, these drive's would be great for an OS/Gaming storage at this speed but don't expect too have super fast transfers too it.

Dead easy HDD replacement
Cloning my netbook HD to this, via a USB enclosure also bought on Amazon, using the free AOMEI Backupper software, was a snip. Installing the SSD in place of the old drive on my netbook using a tutorial on YouTube was easy and now my old netbook loads windows and shuts down in a blink. Best upgrade I've ever done and so far no hitches!Obviously, this is a small capacity drive, but my Netbook only had 30GB on it, so this small drive was perfect. Recommended.

this is pretty impressive for the price
Breath life into an old disposable Laptop , this is pretty impressive for the price , 60GB is enough for the OS and daily programs . I can not comment on durability of the nand flash , but I would use this drive gingerly anyways . Read and wright as advertise but the drive will suffer under heavy load . All none DRAM SSDs suffer that .
