DUCK COMMANDER The Sarge Duck Call

Easy to use good sounding call

For the price, this is a great back up call in my bag. On certain days when they need a different tone this is good, but for the most part, it is reserved to backup duty in the event all my main calls start sticking. I have another duck commander call that I love and can blow easy for the full range of calls.

It is a little raspy, but very easy to blow. Its a good mid-range call if you are looking for a call that can do it all. I would feel comfortable taking this call in the field or in the flooded timber.I ended up giving it to my nephew for his first duck call, because of this. I instantly regretted it though, miss the call.It sounds great and is at an affordable price. I would recommend it!

I'm giving it 5 stars. However, it's possible to use it wrong such that "It doesn't really sound like anything." But if you do your research (there's a couple of good YouTube videos) you can make this call actually sound like a duck. And it's not that difficult to boot.Given, I am not a duck hunter, so I don't really know if I'm doing it exactly right, but it sounds like a duck when I use it.I bought this duck call because I'm a zoology professor and I wanted to make an original noise for my students as they walked across the commencement stage. This was perfect. It's loud and obnoxious and fun!

Bought as a gift for a 7 year old and he LOVED IT! He loves Duck Dynasty and was so happy when he opened it.
