The one I was using with dry bait (same one as stopped lighting up) had a hole melted right through the bottom. The battery had literally exploded out of the top, dropped down, melted a 1/4" hole through the bottom and dropped to the ground. It's very dry here right now, this easily could have started a fire!If you already have these... DO NOT USE!Original review:Hole diameter too large, wasps can easily escape this "trap"Mid/late April on the Colorado Front Range and all my other traps are catching yellowjackets, including Rescue bait traps and TrapStick's, plus various types/brands of liquid traps. Had a heavy infestation last year and am getting on it early to capture as many queens as I can. Using the same baits as are working in my other traps, these aren't producing. I've swapped positions with other traps to be sure it wasn't related to their location, no change. Other than a single fly in the one I'm using liquid bait in, exactly ZERO captures. Scroll down for details.- Entry hole diameter is too large, it allows insects to escape.- The light is very weak, and only stays on a few hours. Nocturnal insects weren't interested.- Wasps go dormant at night, a light is useless for the purpose of capturing wasps/hornets/yellowjackets.Was thinking these might attract other insects at night, but they haven't.Bait traps work ok if properly designed, but these particular ones aren't. When using liquid bait they are fairly disgusting to clean out, and they will sometimes start to stink.Annoyingly useless, and often misleading, when several different products are bundled together in the same product ratings and Q&A's such as this company does.These will be returned.

Perhaps wasps are learning… I have tried two different type traps now… neither work. Can’t totally hold this one accountable if the other name brand hasn’t worked either. 😤Not one lil devil captured in any of the various traps placed around my small yard.

The solar light at night draws a lot of insects. You see them dead in the canisters in the morning. Very easy to set up and reuse

I have a lot of wasps on my porch and this thing didn’t catch any not during the day nor the night

Ive had this set uo for 3 weeks. Tried honey water, beer, apple cider vinegar...mostly have caught moths, ants. Ans I actually dont get the light. Arent wasps in the nest at night? I think its the light is way i get the moths. Any other suggestions to put inside?

Tried all their recipes for bait but only caught moths, flying ants, anything but a wasp. The green/yellow traps (rescue) 10 feet away did great. Sorry

We used sugar water, fresh honey, beer and different types of juices & absolutely nothing worked. Even at night after having charged in the sunlight all day, the light was barely noticeable. Not a single wasp,hornet,bee or any flying insect was attracted to or trapped by this waste of money. It was simple to use but that's about it. I would absolutely not recommend this product.

I had a very bad wasp problems. I bought several sets and placed them where the most wasps were and they cleaned them out along with other pedky bugs.

Added sugar, honey, coke... NO WASP or Bees. Which i have nest of them right beside. Only what I'm catching is all other flies because of the light once is dark.Useless!

The holes are a bit to big as they can escape.. Great value for your money.
