- STANDARD 1/4" (6.35mm) bit. US standard dimension for perfect fit in a standard 1/4" bit driver. We use US standard 1/4" hex stock and not European 6.00mm hex stock.
- Precision Tight Fit! The tool fits oval head bolts with a head size of approximately 3.9x3.3mm. It's worth noting that the head size varies slightly between espresso maker production batches and models. Because of this we deliberately manufacture our tool to have a very tight fit to the head in order to increase the chances that even the most rusted bolt can be opened without risking rounding the head of the bolt or damaging the tool.
This bit fits the oval head screws in ALL NESPRESSO machines that use the capsule system. That said, beware that some machine models use regular Torx "star" screws and you do not need this special oval head tool! The bit will fit the proprietary oval head security screws in the Essenza C90, C91, C100, C101, D90, D100, D101, D290, D300, E350, ES80, Delonghi EN95, Magimix M250, Krups XN2001, XN2008, XN2105, XN2120, XN5005, and all other models that use the Nespresso capsule system. If your machine does not use capsules, please contact us to check if the tool will fit. Also, if you're not sure if you have an oval head screw, Torx, or something else, please send us a picture and ask! We're happy to help. ATTENTION KRUPS OWNERS: This tool fits Krups Nespresso machines. It does NOT fit any drip coffee maker we know of. Specifically it does NOT fit the oval head screws with 5.8x4.8mm head used in the Krups Coffee Aroma Plus 12 Cup Coffee Maker model 134B. Let me repeat what's already said above: If your machine uses Nespresso capsules, the tool probably will fit. If your machine does not use capsules, contact seller!
