Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway by Tim Holtz (6"), Black

As an owner of a Sizzix Big Shot I was not sure that there could be anything better out there. This Foldaway machine is amazing it solves the problem of taking my machine to classes , as it is really portable and it cuts so much better than the Big Shot. Intricate dies that I would previously have had to use my precision plate for cut with ease on this machine. It is truly amazing. Really happy with my purchase can’t recommend it highly enough

The Sizzix Big Shot is a very nice manual machine. I'm new to card making and did a lot of research on die cutters and embossing machines. This one fits the bill. Its small, sturdy, and easy to use.

I have a Big shot already, but really wanted this foldaway because it doesn’t take up as much space. Works just as good if not better. So far I am really happy I purchased it.

I've been crafting for nearly half a century but recently got very into papercraft and card making. This tool is fantastic for use with embossing folders, 3D embossing folders and cutting dies of all kinds. The pressure is greater than the Sizzix Texture Boutique I was using for embossing previously, so I get much nicer results from every folder I have whether name-brand or knock-off. The fact that the sides and the handle fold in to reduce the footprint to approximately the size of the standard cutting pads is a huge help for storage.

My husband bought this as a gift for me as my cuttle but gave up the ghost and they are not selling them anymore. I love this little craft machine. Easy to use and compact. Cuts the dies nicely. Although I will have to replace the top plate more often that I want to. It cuts into the clear plate and as long as I keep flipping it over, it does not warp, but it will be of no use due to the amount of cut lines it will have in it soon.

There's no way to fix the machine if the roller notches break or become loose. I looked up some videos on "how to fix" but the machine I bought is a recent model, the sides do not come apart. I bought the machine over two years ago, and mostly used it for the three dimensional embossing. During the two years of use, the machine worked well.

This works very well and is a sturdy machine I like the way it folds up so it doesn’t take up as much space as I live in an RV and space is at a premium.
