Where does the dirt go?

The Hoover Wind Tunnel 2 has a dirt cup capacity of 1.29 liters.

Is the hose easily stretched? The last one I had had such a tight hose that it would constantly pull the vaccum down and barely extended..

Mine is VERY tight and always tips over the vacuum, but that is an indication that it has powerful suction. the hose is suple and easily stretched when the vacuum is off, but when you tuen it on, the suction pulls the hose tight. The ONLY way to avoid that is with a stiff hose like a shop vac and theyre a total pain to wrap up and store.

What is the warranty? we bought ours hete in june of 2017. the brush won't engage any more. put in anew belt and still won't work.

I had the same problem because the belt is too big! So I purchased another thinking that they had mistakenly put on the wrong belt. But they are all too big for this series wind tunnel. I measured the belt: it is 18” - So I got on Amazon and bought a smaller belt and this one PERFECTLY drives the beater bar. Hoover needs to read this. Its a 16” belt rather than an 18” go buy: Simplicity Vacuum Belts for 5000 and 7000 Series Vacuum - 2 Belts, Sold by: Vacuum Fix on Amazon for $6.50
