Unconventional, and great
*** updated November5, 2018 (at bottom)First, I'll say that I am a professional electrician, and I have purchased and installed at least a dozen different types of LED flood lightThis light has an unconventional design. It is totally flat on the back, without any heat sinks protruding. I was a little concerned about it at first, because the heat sinks help direct heat out of the fixture and into the air around it. But after weeks of nightly use, this thing is running nice and cool. I have no concerns about heat building up inside fixtureAnother thing that's unconventional is the mounting bracket. With most of these types of flood lights, the bracket has to be removed from the fixture in order to mount it. Then the fixture has to be reattached to the bracket on the wall. But this one is designed for mounting without removing the bracket. That makes for a much easier installation. Then, somebody finally got the hint about wire length. I've seen hundreds of reviews complaining about the short wires coming out of these types of fixtures. I've even complained about it. Can you just charge us an extra $0.25 and give us two extra feet of wire?Well, Hyperikon listened. There's about 4 feet of wire coming out of this fixture, long enough to reach a junction box and have plenty to work with.As for brightness, let the pictures speak for themselves. I have it mounted on the corner of my deck in front of my house. My vehicles are parked right in front of the deck, and they are both lit up phenomenally. I have it pointed straight down, and it lights up all the way across the street - but not so bright as to be obnoxious to the neighbors. The other two pictures are my neighbor's front yard. You can see that there's a street light on the corner, and this fixture casts light better and farther than the street light. overall, A+***update so it's been about eight months since I installed the light, just thought I would add an update that the light is still functioning the same as the day I installed it.When I installed it I put a male plug on the end of the cord, and simply plug it in and unplug it. But many times I leave for the day and forget to unplug it. I gave up on unplugging it about 6 weeks ago, so it has been operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week for that period of time.I believe I have about 3000 hours on this light up to this point with no issues whatsoever.*** Nov 5, 2018It's been over a year since my last update, and this light is still performing exactly the way it did when I first installed it. No issues whatsoever. I have another 4,000 hours on it at this point, so a total of about 7,000. The brightness is still the same, the color is still the same crisp white and has not faded to even the slightest hint of green. This light really is awesome

Claims IP65, but within hours of being installed in ...
Claims IP65, but within hours of being installed in an area with humidity, the inside of the glass had fogged up although it doesn't seem to impact operation. Photos do not show the plug end: this is terminated with bare wires. You need to hard wire it into a junction box, or add a plug from the hardware store if you want to plug it into a standard outlet. This is detailed in the Installation Manual which is posted, but is not visible in the product photos nor in any of the text on the product page.Edited to add: The seller was in touch within hours of posting this review to discuss and we came to a solution. I'll certainly consider buying another identical one of these in the future if I need it, this seller offers A+ customer service.

Woodshop exterior light...Nice! -with just slight complaint
This is a really nice light. I have it on the front of my woodshop for some of the work needing to be done just outside the doors late at night. It works superb....very bright. Lights up a half of acre of property without any issue. My only issue with the fixture is that it's classified and UL Listed as a 'Wet Location' fixture yet there are a few problematic areas of concern. The fixture doesn't allow water in; it is raintight in that regards. The issue is with the way the glass cover was cut to accept the screws which hold it in place. Instead of having holes drilled through the glass lens whereby a rubber washer of the machine screw could seal off the hole, there are semi-circular cutouts for the passage of the bolt. These cutouts collect sitting water on the top of the fixture during rain storms. Although the water never enters the fixture, it is just sitting there around those screws......rust the screws in half over time. Only complaint.

Great light for my garage!
I bought four of the 50w versions of this light for my garage.I'm very happy with these. The lights are slim and not terribly heavy, and with four of them in the garage they throw an incredible amount of light around my garage. The light assemblies themselves feel substantial in your hand, and I saw no rough finishing or sloppy assembly on the cases. They come with nice long wire whips on them, which made it easy to run these to junction boxes. The wires are color coded to european standards as others have said, but they're labeled so it's no issue. The ends of the wires are tinned, which I didn't need so snip snip.It does take about a second for these to energize when you flip the switch, but that's not an issue for my install. The brackets are pretty conveniently designed, and install easily with 1/4" lag bolts and washers. The only complaint I have about these is that the brackets seem a little chintzy compared to the actual light assemblies, but they get the job done.Final word on these is that I'll definitely be buying more of these. If I need other outdoor lights or lights in my basement, these will be going in to replace my fluorescents and incandescents.

Really Bright
This LED Floodlight is bright at 4000 lumens.Very easy to install. Just make sure you use screw bolts because regular wood screws will probably not hold the weight of the light. The construction looks good. All edges are smooth and even the glass plate infront has a smooth edge. I did however, fill the holes where the two sides are screwed on with silicone so water won't sit on it when it rains. This is my first 50W LED floodlight the one it replaced was 30W and the diffference is literally night and day.It says its rated at IP65 which means its dust proof and can withstand sprays of water so rain should be fine. I still applied silicone sealant along the edges of teh glass front since I can't see a rubber gasket on the glass. It rained last night and sofar so good.
