So I see that others have noted that the strands are bunched together and very difficult to untangle. This is true. However, being the untangle king (my wife calls me) I was able to come up with a very easy method to make the job much simpler. Refer to the pictures. Hanging each strand on individual finishing nails (there is a small loop at each end) I was able to untangle all five in just seven minutes, whereas the first time I tried with the first five sitting at my desk, it took me 25 frustrating minutes. Try this method. It works well. I hope this helps.Otherwise, the leaves are very lifelike but spaced a bit far apart, about 7". The strands of garland are actually about 7" long. Expect the leaves to fall off during untangling but they're easily reattached.

Upon arrival, opened bag and gently separated the stands.By the time I had them apart, more than half of the leaves were off the vine. Shouldn't have to reconstruct it to be usable.

For a long time I was using a different type of vines but I didn't like that everyone was also using those, and they didn't seem too realistic. These ones though are amazing, and look like they could actually be vines! They still have that artificial look of course, but for the price point you can't really complain. I hung them up in my bedroom and made it look like my bedroom is a little fairy home, and it looks adorable. I recommend these.

If you thought untangling Christmas tree lights was chore, wait until you get your hands on these grape vines! Right from the package, the leaves from one vine are intertwined with the vines and leaves of the others necessitating the labor of two adults and over 20 minutes to separate (at least in our case!) The vine component is very shiny and plastic-looking...and even the leaves have an unnatural sheen to them --some with wrinkles that don't want to lay flat. These would work fine if placed to be viewed from a distance of several feet...but not for a wine cork wreath where I intended. I have since found that by holding the creased leaves a few inches above our glass-top electric stove burners for a few seconds, the wrinkles do work themselves out! The paired leaves do pop right off the vine attachment prongs, so you're only dealing with two leaves at a time above the burner...and not the entire string of leaves.

Good and bad work out to be an average rating.The good... The vines look great with little nibs and coils that look fairly real. The leaves also look fairly good from a distance.The bad.... They come in a thin plastic bag crushed flat, so many of the leaves were folded and creased and won't flatten out without a good bit of work. I tried smoothing them over and over, and finally had to go leaf by leaf carefully warming them with a hair dryer on low heat. If the manufacturer put these loosly in a firm box, they would not get so crushed and look a lot better.

These vines were very pretty. They did have a strong chemically smell when you first opened the package, but that eventually goes away. My biggest issue with these vines was trying to detangle them; that task took much longer than it should have. I do think they make a great addition to my workspace, and my co-workers compliment them me on them all of the time. I would recommend to a friend. Made in China.

This came quick and better than what I expected. The pic is the first look I threw together and it looks nice so I can only imagine with all of my ideas how cool this will be! Very nice material and lightweight. Smelled a little funky when I first took it out of box but nothing to worry about, I really love it.
