I have bought this brand several times and it does not disappoint. My soap comes out perfectly and it's easy to use.

I use it every month or so in my kitchen drain. It works, mostly in the winter when the grease thickens in the drains, so if you use it, you do not have to worry. (try it) I am going to try to make soap this weekend. I'll let you know what happens. You can also use this Lye on iron Skillets to clean them back to almost new. Good product, best of luck to you

Perfectly good lye for soap making but does get "lye lint" more than any other lye I have used. Every time it gets a crust. Still works.
