the safety valve on one of the pressure cooker went kaput and the steam was escaping relentlessly (i guess the valve has been there for a very long time now). Found this (great cost for 3 pieces) and immediately ordered. CHanging the valve was a breeze and these fit like a glove. A week later the safety valve on the 2nd cooker gave away too (i am suspecting that these guys were secretly communicating with each other or such). immediately changed that too. I believe these are original since the cookers have bee doing fine so far (3+ months almost of cooking about 3-4 times a week).

Fits Correctly, Simple Installation.
These safety valves fit my Hawkins pressure cooker correctly and work as expected. Installation was simple, and it's nice to have spare replacements on hand. However, the overall quality feels average, and I was expecting a more durable product. They get the job done, but nothing particularly impressive.
