The TALON Chuck has a small body diameter and only weighs 3.5 lbs making it the perfect choice for small to medium sized lathes. The single handed clamping mechanism uses a key and scroll configuration, which creates an astounding amount of GRIPPING POWER for such a small chuck. The patented top jaw design and self centering capabilities ensure a tight grip on a wide range of stock. A nickel plated body along with hardened base jaws and lubricated scroll ensure the chuck will stand up to the rigours of everyday turning. If SAFETY is a concern, the patented over extension prevention system literally makes it impossible for the jaws to come loose from the chuck during operation. The TALON Chuck combined with the most popular accessory jaws (Spigot Jaws and No. 3 Jaws) create an extremely useful and versatile package to accommodate any turning project!
