Astonishingly poor durability
I bake every day, so it is likely that in the short time that I have owned this, I have used it beyond its projected life span. I received this baking tray on March 5, and commenced baking. As of last week, baguettes began to stick. Today, the pan would not release the bread, so I released the pan. The baking tray and bread were launched with great vigor over the fence in my backyard. Why on earth did I give it three stars, you ask. When used within its limitations, it's a handy bit of cookware. It was a welcomed crutch that helped me perfect my technique, but I no longer need it or the aggravation of its marginal durability. If you are a casual bread baker and wish to experiment with baking baguette, this tray can be quite handy in helping you deal with the fragile, high hydration dough you will produce. The tray, however, will not stand up to high frequency baking cycles or a harsh cleaning regimen. View it as a set of training wheels to get you rolling down the road. When it fails you, let nature have it. It will rust back to its elemental constituents in no time.

works fine but not needed
I bought a set of these, because I thought I need them. Ok they work fine...but if you handle your dough right, you dont need them.Buy a good couche (also to be found here at Amazon) and fold you rough the right way prefore proofing and you will get nice and round baguettes without the need of these. I gave them 4 stars because they work, and may be helpfull for the beginner.Thereare videos on the tube how to......if you need links, a helpful vote and a request for info here and I will post them.I also dont mind telling you my recipe, but I cant do this here, sorry.Hope I was able to help, please ask any questions you may have, I will try to answer

Buyer beware...
I read review but usually take them with a grain of salt and this was no exception, i read that the coating was fragile at best but thought that if i take extra care of it it will most likely last for long time. But those of you who think you can avoid other's pitfalls i have bad news. I took extra care of these baguette molds, wash them with the soft side of the sponge water and soap and after 1 (yes one) batch of bread there is already disappearing coating. I wish i had better news as there is no good alternatives but thought i would help make sure you don't think that the complain about the coating is not from those folks that thought cleaning with a metal brush would be a good idea.. unfortunately not the case... On the right side of the ledger they look good are easy to use and make baguette baking so much easier no need for a couche, the last rise and baking in those molds make baguettes the baker would be envious of but the coating is a huge concern.

Works well.
Sturdy. Good price. Easy clean up. Baked bread and it worked well. Like the tiny hole imprints it makes on the loaves.

Love this pan
I absolutely love this pan. My bread turns out evenly browned, it doesn't stick and it's very sturdy. As with all my non-stick bread pans, I never wash in the dishwasher and preferably wash with water but occasionally wash in soapy water by hand. It keeps pans working well. I would like to find this pan that holds 3 or 4 loaves. It's super sturdy and will be one I will use for years.

Non-stick with no extra help
Purchased this to test a gluten-free baguette recipe for ATK's new gluten-free cookbook. The pan worked and so did the recipe. Keep in mind - this makes a very small baguette-sized loaf of bread - not more than 2-3" in diameter. This is not a pan to make a large loaf of super market French bread. What it does, it does well. No sticking, even with a very sticky gluten-free dough.
