Skechers Women's Shape Ups XW Hyperactive Sneaker

I would like to take this opportunity to berate every person who caused the Shape Up shoes to cease production. These are awesome shoes and you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to get a quick buck because you didn't use the shoes properly and go walk to try and lose weight. There is no magic pill or article of clothing to give you the perfect weight.I don't agree with most overstated advertisements, but they are advertisements and forcing the company to change their tune didn't have to make them quit producing an awesome shoe.Sorry about the rant folks but my soapbox is finally aired.

Terrible quality. Just don't. Sketchers should be ashamed to sell such a product. I have worn these shoes not even daily for 3 weeks. They should recall this sneaker as it is dangerous. The bottom part totally detached while I was walking. Waste of money.

Comfortable for the most part but snug. Attention to detail could be better, when looking at the shoe you see unevenness in the cut and sewing. The Velcro closers snags socks, stocking whatever I have on my feet or brush against, including my slacks, very annoying and destructive. Did not like the return policy from seller, I thought this was an Amazon free return product, seller states after purchase buyer must pay return postage.

I bought these shoes for work and let me tell you I'm never going back to any other type of work shoe! Do they tone your legs? I'm not sure but they feel like your walking on clouds! Do they make my feet hurt? heck no they don't! Do they wear out easily? Nope not at all? Can I wear them in other setting besides work easily? You bet I do!I was also very pleased by the size; I'm a woman size 6.5 and it's hard to find this size in most stores. They fit perfectly!From someone who is picky about shoes and is on their feet 8-10 hours a day I'd say these are a winner!

The shoe is stiffer than I expected, and the back comes up too high on my foot. I put in an orthotic to keep the bottom of my Achilles tendon from getting rubbed by the back of the shoes, Now they fit fine and are really excellent for walking. The Shapeups exercise my feet and legs and seem to put my entire body in better alignment during the striding movement.

Unfortunately, I developed plantar fasciitis along with a heel spur that was unbelievably painful and had me limping badly no matter what type of shoes, sneakers or arch supports I tried until a friend recommended Sketchers Shape Ups. I had a pair in my closet that I hadn't worn in probably a year, so out they came and all I can say is...WOW! The difference was instant and absolutely amazing. I rarely have pain if I always wear these shoes. I am totally blown away that they make that big of a difference, but they definitely do. I don't know if they will work for everybody, but they definitely work for me big time!!

These are probably the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Standing in place is nearly impossible because you teeter forwards and backwards and your body posture is thrown all out of alignment. Your body starts to ache after a while and your feet feel like they are in Steve Martin's infamous "cruel shoes." Really a big disappointment. I will be donating them to a thrift store even though I have trouble foisting them on someone else. But someone else may not have a problem with them.

I LOVE THIS SHOES!!! For long hours of walking and standing at work it’s the most amazing ever!

Sketchers are usually expensive, especially these with a special sole. The claim is they improve walking style, abdominal muscles and various other benefits. I did a little research and it seems the jury is out on this, but putting this aside, they are wonderuflly comfortable, The sole is soft but supportive, almost liking walking on a down mattress. It didn't take long to get used to them. and I'm sure for most that would alos be true. I got a really good deal from Amazon so I was prepared to give them a go. I only gave four stars because black is boring and it seems that's the only colour and they're far from beautful. The style looks clompy but the fit great.

Love sketchers shoes. They are well made and last for years great quality. They are comfy and look great with leggings and o can really feel them working the back of my legs. Looking forward to getting many many years wear out of them. The ones these replaced were brought in 2005 and only now just starting to wear hence the replacement.. Great packaging too and a free DVD.

This is one of the best shoes that I have worn for work. It is very comfortable and gives very good support to posture and the back. This shoes lasted long despite wearing it every day.

Having problems with one of my ankles my consultant advised me to use Skechers Shape-ups. He was right - the pain almost disappeared. They are extremely comfortable.Shall buy another pair soon !

I loved the first version of this shoe, with one strap across. This is not quite as good. I'm usually a size 4, 37 continental size, but I thought I'd try this as the last Skechers pair I bought at size 4 was too big. This size 31/2 fits well. I wish they would remake their original version though and in different colours. Do you think management would listen? I think not!

I wear orthotics and have back and knee problems. These shoes are so squishy and comfortable I only take them off when I have to. The Ballerina cross over strap style is so much more elegant than Mary Janes too and I wear with almost everything. I wish I had tried these years ago! Rocker bottoms rock in my opinion. Wish you did rocker bottom sandals too.

I have arthritis in my knees and ankles, before I discovered these shoes I was in severe pain and frequently had difficulty walking, since I have been wearing them,the pain has reduced drastically and I am able to walk with out a stick, I have several pairs, but it is getting more and more difficult finding them for sale in the UK, and unfortunately can only get size 6.5 I actually need size 7 so I have to have them stretched before I can wear them. Regardless of this I dread being without them.

Please do not request feedback so quickly after receiving the product. Have the time I haven't had a chance to try on; test the object in question.In this case, I have a previous pair which should indicate my satisfaction.My only Moan would be that the Velcro is very narrow and easily slips off its target

these shoes are a comfortable fit. I would recommend them. however may be shocked by the price of the p&p.

I usually take a size 6 ordered 6 and a half just to be sure as I suffer from arthritis and also flat feet....these were re-commended to be by my physiotherapist as I have also on health problems have fond them to be very comfortable it is great to be able to walk without constant pain in the feet. I would have no problem giving this product a star rating of 5.

I am keep buying this shape ups ballerina shoes, it's so comfortable I hardly feel it's on my feet! This type is a bit wider than other ballerina shoes, do not buy a size larger!!!Best for fall and mild winter time, due to thick leather upper material and shape up sole it is quite warm!

Fits well on my wide feet - as do all Skechers with their roomy fit ( always happy with Skechers shoes !). The sole form is no problem in fact it makes you stand up straight and walk well. Excellent.

Really comfortable and goes with everything. Just the right amount of challenge to muscles for everyday wear. Good quality. Fit of 6 and a half is like Clarks 6 and a half. A total bargain, it's last year's style but to me a classic anyway.

Very comfy for work. Not sure about the workout as you walk part but I live in hope! Slightly wide across the heel.I've got osteo arthritis in my knees, but walk a lot at work, my knees seem good with these shoes.

Ignore fit selected ("moderately large"), there's no option for "badly". Awful shoes - socks are dragged down into shoe. Type of sock doesn't matter. I had same shoe with a straight, thick strap for 5 years - best, most comfortable shoes I ever had. I thought it was just me and I'd break these ones in, but no, so left it too late to return them :-(
