One Knight Stand (Midnight Empire: The Tower Book 4)

An enjoyable romp round the country, lots of magic, adventures, battles and strong characters to love and not. The descriptions are good, even if it’s dark, the dialogue continues to meet the readers expectations.

Enjoyed the series read it back to back. However considering this is set in London there are alot of Americanisms; diaper, fanny pack etc. But still enjoyed it and liked the sparky humour

I enjoyed the book for the variety of characters, the humans, wizards, creatures and story line.It is well written.

I've been glued to the pages of this book, the entire series. The author has a wonderful imagination. With Interesting, engaging, supernatural characters. Monsters and magic. A Great drama unfolds.

What a fantastic read. I literally couldn’t put it down and read late into the night.It’s book four in this urban fantasy novel and has a kick ass heroine, her champion who wants to change the world for the better and tone of magic!

I enjoyed the characters and plot and the various escapades that take place hopefully there is a future story or two to come.

A fantastic end to a very enjoyable book and series, these books aren't long and I wish there was more books with these characters, but you'll be satisfied with the whole story enough to want to read all the books in this series.

I very highly recommend this four-book series. It’s excellently written and transports you in your imagination to see places and meet the characters. By the end of the last book you know every character well. Very sorry to have come to the end. Another Annabel Chase winner.

Great writing. Love this series. Lots of action and exciting. Can't get enough. Got me though a hurricane Beryl. Can't wait till the next series.

No spoilers! Satisfying ending with the promise of more stories. It all comes together, most answers wrapped up. A good read for the urban fantasy romance. There is romance but honestly it's more urban fantasy. Once again a solid read and definitely moving on to the next 2 series in the same world.

This whole series has been a thrilling ride into an amazing and vivid world. I loved each character and each twist and turn they took. It’s a series that I’ll joyfully re-read many times.

Very good plot in this post catastrophic world. Different spin on a number of supernaturals. Loved our heroine and hero. Lots of humour and qwerks To keep it interesting. Enjoyable

I thought this was going to be the last in the series. I'm so glad there is more instore for London. I think this series is 1 of the best from Annabel Chase, although it did take me a while to get back to it.Annabel you are the best writer of fantasy that I have read yet.Look forward to the next book.
