Awesome for polishing chrome on Harley
The image speaks for itself. There was a patch on the crash bar that cannot be removed with normal polish or even micro abrasive chrome polish. Only took me 30 sec to remove it with this steel wool and without scratches.

This product did not impress me at first, but after I used it to remove the rust from my old dustbin, it looked brand new and was scratch-free. This steel comes to mind whenever I see something that needs some TLC or has rust on it.

GREAT PRODUCT!
Bought a package of so called #0000 grade steel wool from my local lumber yard, it was not a good quality (coarse) so I ordered this steel wool. It is very good quality! I didn't know that all #0000 grade steel wool were not the same, now I do.

Works Great for Fine Cleaning and Finishing
This #0000 steel wool works great and has been exactly what I expected from an extra-fine steel wool pad. I like having this grade on hand because it gives you the cleaning and polishing ability of steel wool without being nearly as aggressive as the coarser varieties.The pads are easy to work with, and I can use as much or as little as I need depending on the project. Since this package comes with 12 pads, there is plenty to keep around for different jobs instead of running out after only a couple of uses.What I appreciate most is how fine the #0000 grade is. For projects where you want a much more controlled, gentle touch, having the correct grade makes a big difference. These have worked great for us, and I haven't had any issues with their performance.I also think this is one of those inexpensive supplies that's useful to keep with your household tools and project materials. You may not need it every day, but when a project calls for very fine steel wool, it's nice to already have the right product available rather than trying to make something more abrasive work.Overall, I'm very happy with these. They work exactly as expected, the 12-pack is convenient, and the extra-fine texture makes them useful for jobs where a coarser steel wool would be too aggressive. Simple product, but it does its job very well.
