You need to keep it washed for it to spin well, but that's a given on all spin rings. I love it though. I've had it for a couple months now and I don't regret it at all

UPDATE: After several months of extensive wear, the ring came apart. I ordered another one from another seller, but it was slightly different from the one pictured.It's exactly as pictured and spins pretty well. No complaints yet.
