Bummis Swimmi Swim Diaper, Koi Pond, Large

I loved this swim diaper and when it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out on our 2-year-old daughter. It is very soft and seemed comfortable for her. I got her a large, which seems to fit fine although she is very slight and short for her age. She weighs about 23 pounds right now and the Velcro touches in the middle, but I saw that you could overlap it if needed. It should also be noted that while the diaper itself is soft, the Velcro is serious. If you don't fasten this carefully it will really irritate the skin. Overall, this was a great buy for $14. I read some other reviews that the diaper doesn't hold the pee in so you need to be careful on your way to the pool, but luckily that didn't become an issue for us. I assume she went in it at some point, but there also weren't any solid incidents to contend with, so I don't know how well it holds those in. I would definitely recommend it though!

This is a very cute style. The fit is a bit tricky on a thin-legged child, but by Velcro-ing higher or lower you can get a better fit. I like another brand’s fit a bit better.

So stinkin' cute! I purchased the swim diaper and tankini. I read A LOT of reviews before choosing sizes.My daughter is 22 months, 26 lbs, average build. She has been true to size since birth, until about 2 months ago; she got a little tall, so 2T is fitting her better than 18-24 months, except in the waist (too big in the waist).I purchased the LARGE swim diaper, and 18-24 tankini (because it's the biggest size they offer in the tankini). What a great fit! Both fit her very well, and will definitely grow with her all summer; since summer in FL will go through October, that's a pretty long time!

Runs very small. Size up 1 or 2 sizes if your kid runs on the "big" spectrum. The weight specifications seem to apply best with tall and skinny kids

I bought two of these swim diapers for my 17 month old daughter when we went on vacation to the beach. I bought a size large because she's within the 22-30 lb range. We used the diapers a few times and had few complaints until she pooped in it for the first time. It was horrible. The diaper did not contain the poop and it was everywhere. We were swimming in a pool that had just re-opened after another child had an accident earlier in the day and then the pool had to be closed again. So frustrating. Aside from the poo issue, my other complaint is that I always needed to adjust the tabs and top of the diaper as it would reposition. These problems may be due to sizing issues, though it would so so nice to buy a product and it do what it was advertised to do.

I've been using Bummis Swim Diapers for 4 months now, but waited to write a review until they were actually put to the test. On vacation this week my 13 month old suddenly got very quiet in the pool, and sure enough, she had made a deposit in the diaper. I'm happy to say that nothing escaped and I was able to take her poolside for a quick change before anyone was the wiser.Love the velcro and the designs are so cute.

Cute item. Fast delivery. I bought the large for my 28lb daughter. Fits fine, but it caused some scratches. She pointed them out and asked to have the diaper removed. Darn.

I think the sizing may be off. I bought it for my 1 year old who weighs about 24 lbs. Pretty small. The velcro also scratched his belly but its really cute and great for the purpose.
