FastCap 98211 BabeBot 4-Ounce Wide Mouth Glue Bottle

If you don’t have one of these, just go ahead and buy one. Or two, like me! I loved my first so much that I had to buy another. Don’t get the off brand for a buck or so less. I’ve tried both, the other one is awful. Buy a gallon of glue and fill your bottle up! Just don’t forget to put the cap on or you’ll be digging dried glue out next time you need to use it. Way more convenient than a standard bottle and you can control how much glue you want to come out based on how much you cut the tip. I use these enough that I have one in my craft room and one in my shop (which are 15 feet apart) because it’s that good. The 4 oz is perfect for me, but the larger on is also good. I’m a female with small hands so the little one meets my needs and doesn’t require refilling too often. Way more effective than trying to keep your glue bottle upside down to get the glue out each time, then forgetting to close it and ruining it trying to dig out dried glue for the obnoxious screw cap. If you do leave the cap off of the BabeBot, all you have to do is unscrew the tip and clean it out. Easy peasy. Buy it. Tell your friends to buy it, share a gallon of wood glue (way cheaper that way!) and enjoy the convenience of never having to wait for the glue to move from the bottom of the bottle to the tip. +10000 for ingenuity and improved efficiency. Oh, and the mouth is wide enough that even my chronically distracted brain can manage to fill it without making a mess. Definite bonus!

Works perfectly to deliver thin line of fresh glue. Excellent design prevents the glue from skinning over, so the glue line it delivers is pristine. I have never had the nozzle clog, even using the thinnest setting. This glue dispenser has helped me deliver the exact amount of glue needed to avoid excess squeeze out, thus minimizing clean up. I have the larger size also, and it is equally excellent for delivering larger amounts of glue. I wish I had known about this product earlier. Solid five stars in all ways.

Good idea but a couple of issues - first the plastic strap holding the cap broke the first time it was used - it is a good idea but needs to be much stronger to be practical. Second, I'm getting wood glue hardening in the small pour chamber near the nozzle after leaving glue in it for a few weeks, requiring me to clean it to make the glue flow again. I'm guessing the nozzle cap doesn't seal as well as screw lid does. That makes it unsuitable as a glue storage container which for an occasional woodworker like me it doesn't functional well. if you are a trades person then I imagine that problem would not happen as you would be using it every day.

I really like this glue bottle. I use it for wooden crafts, primarily. It's quite small and has a very fine tip. This is perfect for me because most glue bottles put out too much glue or too wide a band--OK for construction but not for crafts. You determine how large the opening is based on how you cut the tip on this, and it can be very fine indeed. It will allow you to apply glue to very small areas. This is probably my favorite part of this bottle. The bottle is airtight and doesn't let the glue dry out...very helpful. The number 1 reason I like this is that I can now buy large glue containers (including gallon sized, if I want) and refill this, rather than having to use the container or a paintbrush for application. I fill it up to the very tippy top so there is no air inside the bottle as a way to make sure the glue doesn't dry at all. If I use a good bit, I will refill it right away so there is never any air in there. Handy. This company makes a larger one as well and I had originally intended to buy both, but I have ended up liking this one so well I don't feel that the other was necessary. Great product

I also have the larger version of this which is great when doing bigger projects that require multiple glued joints/surfaces. However, if you are not doing a large project or using the glue elsewhere frequently, I've found the glue does deteriorate over time. Yes, glue does have a shelf life for max effectiveness. The 4 oz. Babe-Bot is just the right size for most projects. Used on a regular basis, the glue can be dispensed before it loses maximum strength. It's also easy to carry in a nail pouch and doesn't take up much room if you're working from a bench or table top. If you're not familiar with these glue bottles this is the advantage; there is a larger resivoir to hold the glue and a smaller dispenser resorvor - the two are connected at the bottom. Through the magic of gravity or physics or whatever, the glue rises on the dispenser side so that glue is always available when needed and can be used in any position, upside down, sideways, right side up, just by squeezing the bottle. No more waiting for the glue to run down to the dispenser tip as in a regular glue bottle that's less than full. As mentioned above, I have and use both sizes of the glue bottles, but the smaller Babe-Bot is the one I find most useful for small to medium size projects. Highly recommend this product. Wish I knew how to spell reservoir.

I love GluBots. I have always used the larger size. I realized that there are some situations where I would prefer the smaller one. I think that this is a quality product and the three stars (v. five) is not meant to belittle the baby bot. But the cap with the one that I received looked like it was sliced with a razor and the strap that it hangs on was broken. Have no idea how, when or where this happened but it was kind of disappointing! I "fixed" the cap with gorilla tape and use it with no strap and the purpose is served. I like the product very much just wish it hadn't been mutilated.

To compliment his big brother this "babe" is excellent for smaller projects. I find it excellent for small picture frames and anytime I'm adding a spline. Recently I used it with brad nails to make some light duty 1/2 ply drawers with butt joints. No need to spread the glue at all! I also find this bottle to be a little less tiring on the hand. When using the the larger glue bot a lot my hand tends to tire from squeezing over and over again. Once you get down to the final quarter of the bottle you have to squeeze quite a bit to get the glue out. Working in my uninsulated/unheated Vermont shop in the winter (shop temps vary between freezing and zero) I keep the big bottles of glue on the opposite side of the house a story down. This is where we have some unfinished basement space that I can do finishing work in the winter, but I don't do glue-ups down there. So, when I'm at the tail of the bottle it becomes work. With the babe-bot this isn't the case. If you're doing small woodworking projects, this is definitely worth the tiny investment.

It’s a nice size for using with hide glue for times when you just want to put a small line of glue on a thin edge or to get small amounts of glue into small areas when you don’t want to spend an hour cleaning up the excess from the area.

Bin Modellbauer und nutze Holzleim sehr oft. Bin zufällig auf diesen kleinen Helfer aufmerksam geworden, war allerdings etwas skeptisch, auch wegen negativer Bewertungen hier. Nach dem Kauf der kleinen Variante (glaube ca. 200ml) bin ich aber uneingeschränkt begeistert! So präzise und ohne sonst oft notwendiges Schütteln und drücken habe ich vorher noch nie Holzleim aufbringen können. Wer bastelt und Holzleim fein dosiert einsetzt, sollte hier unbedingt zugreifen! An den 2 kleinen Düsen bitte vorher wenige mm der Spitze abschneiden! Zum Füllen am besten die Düse ganz abschrauben (damit Luft besser austreten und der Kleber sich dadurch besser verteilen kann), Deckel auf und Leim einfüllen. Düse und Deckel wieder dran und los geht‘s! :-)

I love this glue dispenser , bought the smallest size as I can just refill from a bigger bottle so my reasoning is the glue has less chance to set in the bottle before you use it, easily enough for a few days with what I do, YMMV, the bottle is small by design. We'll see sooner or later if that all works out with my workflow! The second nozzle is shipped inside the bottle just as an FYI, but I personally prefer the flat nozzle already on the bottle.
