Poison Spyder 41-04-406 License Plate Light

Works great on my JK license plate mount

Awesome part

I ordered this product because I relocated my license plate to a spare tire delete. I needed a third brake and plate light. The bracket is made out of stainless steel and the lights are very bright.I used the third brake light harness from factory inside the rear gate. The license plate light I ran through the truck from the factory harness behind the left brake light. The installation was extremely easy.

Old gray style worked fine for many years. Built my Jeep with poison spyder products, this different harness plug is flimsy and never worked stay away from black harness one.

Although the company was good at getting the issue fixed. Sent an extra one and then finally a refund. The lenses on these lights are horrible. Spots in them etc

It had to be set up by a professional shop since the wire it’s not a plug and play.

This wires up to the tow hitch light and it works. However the 2 connectors did not line up correctly and did not want to connect securely because one of the prongs was bent out of the box. I had to bend it back to make sure they connected and snapped together. But the lights so blink red when you brake or when you put on the blinkers and otherwise stay lit white to illuminate the license plate. It works, not sure if it works well enough but there were limited options otherwise.
