Most Wonderful Tool Since Slice Bread
This is the Holy Trail. Anyone who bought either the Ryobi BSH-120 or the cloned Teho 8301 4 Volt Lithium Cordless Pruner NEEDS to simple stop what they are doing and read this. You will eventually BREAK the upper moving blade. Without it, your pruner becomes an extremely expensive paperweight. Not good. And I know that $40 bucks is highway robbery but not any different from what prices you get from Ford, Toyota or Chevy. For those who don't own this pruner, you can work ten times faster with one tenth the hand fatigue and your yard will look a hundred times more beautiful. They don't sell the cloned Teho anymore. But this is the "little engine that could" as this pruner chops and chops and chops and chops without rest (until the battery needs a recharge). Every house in America that has a yard needs two of these. No kidding. This is the best yard tool since the invention of sliced bread. To install, there are NO TOOLS. You simply slide your fingernail under the top latch. Then open the latch, it will rotate about 180 degrees or so. Your broken blade will have remnants, shake or pull them out. Position the new blade within this rotating clasp, not exactly easy to figure out, and the slide the blade in. At first, you may think, as darn it doesn't fit but that is because when loose, you must slide the clasp a little to make room for the two fingers of the blade to slide into the locking jaws. Then rotate the clasp 180 degrees back so that it is flush with the handle and cycle the pruner once to check that it works. Easy, peasy. I am actually going to order two more right now and store them in my tool box. Wonderful product. Very, very quick delivery from Japan. If only my ex-girlfriends were as reliable as this tool. Buy it. Buy it now. You WILL thank me.

If you need it, you gotta buy it
It's infuriating that I need this part after only 8 months of use but it's a really great tool. This is my second electric pruner and when this one dies, I'll get another, though possibly not the same brand. The cost of the blade is outrageous. $40 for an inch of metal. Wow. That's almost half the cost of the whole tool.On the bright side, the installation was a snap. The instructions are in Japanese (I think) but there are step-by-step pictures. You push the blade into the slot and it clicks in place.

Followed the advice of a retired landscape company owner
Paraphrasing the elderly wise reviewer: "We are all careful with our tools but you will break your blade - and without this exact replacement part on hand you have a very expensive paperweight." [Thusly I sharpen my blades, care for them, use caution when using them - but am prepared to "not have a very expensive paperweight".]

works at as a replacement for Teho
This blade fits the Teho handheld pruner. Teho doesn't seem to still be in business and no replacement parts are available. This fits and work.

Fits perfectly in my Teho pruner! Cost more than I paid for the tool but so worth it! These are great tools

The cutting blade will break cutting to large or too hard a limb is attempted.
We like it a lot. Price of replacement blades high. Would like to see a discount for buying 2 or more.
