Did not fit HP Envy 4500
I read a number of reviews and this item claims to fit the HP Envy 4500 but it does not. The actual port might fit, but the base of the cable is too large to fit.

Worked great for my HP Envy 4520 when I lost the original cord. No problems at all.

Does the job
I had lost my printer cable a year ago and was torn about biting the bullet and getting a new printer, or doing the logical thing and getting a cable to replace my missing item. Luckily, I did the logical thing and got a replacement for the cable. It works well, and provide the needed power to my printer. The length is also very reasonable. If you are missing your power cable or looking to replace a broken one, this one is great.

Same as original cord!
I recently moved my printer and could not locate the power cord. Until I saw this request to rate the cord, I totally forgot this cord was not the original. They are both identical! I have not encountered any issues using this cord.
