I like the composition and color, but it looks heavy and weak to shock.
I’m using it well in my own way. It’s a suitable set of dishes for me who eats more cereal, pasta, and curry than Korean food. I also like the color. But it’s a bit heavy and thick. And please mark on the sales page that it’s made in China. I would have thought more about buying it if I had known it was from China.

Plates chipped after the first week
I purchased a set of these plates for photos. They were very lightly used and hand washed. After a week 2 smalls plates chipped and this week a large plate has chips on the surface of the plate. Would not recommend for the price

“Unique plates”
In their advertisement they say each plate is unique. I say the large plates are unique due to cheap finishing! Purchase a different item!!! SAVE MONEY, DON’T BUY THESE!!!

Convex plates …
Convex plates and slightly oval bowls.I don’t mind that a couple of the bowls are oval. I do mind that the plates are convex. In one photo I poured water onto the plate. You can see the water pooled around the perimeter. In another photo you can see how the shadows fall which exhibit the fact that the centers are higher than the edges. The rims aren’t high enough to hold anything. Food like anything else will roll downhill from the center of the convex plates and right off the plate. So no meatballs or new potatoes! A concern I have is that the unglazed circles on the reverse will abrade whatever is beneath it. So if I slide one plate atop another it will scratch the bottom one. I won’t get much use out of these plates before they damage each other. And I certainly can’t scoot the plate on a bare wood table lest it scratch the table’s finish! Hmmm. I think I just talked myself into sending these back. I should mention that everything is sturdy and pretty. I like the coarseness of the cup handles. The glazing on everything seems even as far as I can tell. Still as pretty and sturdy as they are, if food rolls off the plates it rather negates the purpose of having a plate! Though not expensive, for the money I expected better.
