While my wife and I are 18 at heart, the reality is that we’re in our 50s & 60s. That said, we are avid skiers who decided to give this a try in order to keep our reflexive muscles for balance in tune during the off season. I have to say that it’s outstanding, and will benefit anyone who desires to either maintain or improve their balance.The construction is solid yet not clunky with a deck large enough to accommodate mens feet (I’m a size 9.5 and there’s still plenty of room for larger sizes). The grip tape’s grit does the job, yet it won’t bother your feet should you use this without shoes.

Ordered this balance board to help increase my balance! I used one some time ago at physical therapy ~ I’m very pleased with it, the size is good for myself as well as my husband! It’s very sturdy and I like the sticky base...it doesn’t bother me barefoot and actually feels kinda good!As we age balance is so important, I’m finding this a help already, additionally I’m activating my core & getting a workout at the same time!I usually do about 5 minute at a time a few times a day!

I generally haven’t done reviews much but I got this balancing board for physical therapy and I have to say that it is excellent quality. I am considered a taller/overweight person (6’3”/240+) and the other boards I have tried haven’t made me feel as stable as this one. For example, the hard plastic ones at my physical therapist’s office make me feel like my feet are sliding off and that the edges are bending. I have to say that the granules on the top of this provide excellent grip. I am also impressed that the board and the pivot underneath feel very solid. Standing on it with both feet or even one foot to do my exercises, I have confidence that the board will be supportive so that I can concentrate on my form. Just wanted to say thank you to the manufacturer for putting out a great product. I highly recommend it.

I gave this item 4 stars because it works great, but there were scuff marks on the bottom as if it had been used previously. I was under the impression I was buying this product brand new.

I like this balance board. It is easy to use, and really helps me to improve my balance. I use it every day. It is well made and makes balance practice fun!

Funny that the review asks about stability...ugh, it's a balance board so no it isn't stable which is the whole point. Also, it's a challenge to use...also the point. As a 60 year old I purchased this to maintain and improve my balance. This board will do it. It is way more challenging that the soft blue balance board I've used at the Pilates studio. This board works my ankles, knees and my core. Paddle boarding is going to be easy this summer.

I can't really balance on it but that's due to my terrible balance and not the product! I weight about 250lbs and it feels sturdy to me, the board doesn't bend, no creaky sounds. The top has a little grit to keep your foot from sliding off, especially if you have sweaty feet like me. Good product!

solidly built, however I am adding a sheet of rubber to the bottom of the plastic bottom because it scoots a bit on a hard surface floor. vert versatile for ankle strengthening and balance work.
