Casio #71604153 Genuine Factory Replacement Band -W-71, W-86

I was searching in my drawer for something else and came across this watch with broken band. I said wow this watch is so old nobody would sell this band except for casio. Let me try amazon. I searched and searched and I found it . Took it to a jeweler and he had problem installing. The band kept popping out with the pin. After twenty minutes he finally got it. He said very old watch don't see these anymore. Took it home wearing it secure pin not popping out . Very happy.

The band is fine, but adding a couple of pins to the package would be really super. These are too easy to lose or damage when changing the band. The economics of buying a $10 band to extend the life of a $15 watch might be dubious, but when you become attached to something, logic goes out the window.

The pins in my old watchband are too big to use on this band. I have never purchased a replacement watchband that came without pins. Many of the bands on Amazon show pins with the watchbands. I missed the fact that this watchband came without pins.

Great watchband but you have to take it to a jeweler to have it attached to the watch. Would be better if it came with the tool so you could do it yourself.

Doesn't come with new bars, and needs diameter smaller than 1.8mm, which is all I had. If you only have 1.8mm diameter bars, don't try to use them. It will not work!! You'll have to find a way to drill the holes in the band out a bit, or you'll need to buy new bars. 1.5mm should work, 1.3mm will definitely work. Dumb... It should include new bars.

Had some trouble with getting this product from Gosao but Patty at Gosao reshipped itand it arrived as promised. The band is a direct replacement for OEM band. It fits and wears well.Again special thanks to Patty for making it all happen.

The band is indeed identical to the one my watch had originally. Be warned that it does not include pins to hold the band in place. It can be hard to remove the original ones from your watch without breaking them. The band is also expensive relative to what it is and to the price of an entirely new watch. But...if you can't find your particular watch model anymore, this can be a good way to keep it going for a little longer.

The band is fine. The pins did not fit in the band. They were too large. I will have to find other pins. Waste of my time and money.Updated on October 31, 2016. I purchased the following spring bar pins and they worked great:  19mm X 1.5mm Stainless Steel Spring Bar Pins for Attaching Watch Band to Watches or Buckle (Set of Two)  Of course, by the time I paid for the replacement band and the spring bar pins, I could have purchased a new Casio watch. But good to know for the future! I updated the review to three stars from two, since I am now able to wear my Casio W-71 watch.
