I have most of these - red green purple blue and they do what you want. The heavy blue I've had for years and it withstand lots of use, moves, sitting in storage heat, etc etc. Will update after buying three others. Highly recommend do far 👍

I like this because the quality, ease of use and the price I paid is great. The range of motion is good for a Senior Citizen.

Color coding is different from the SPRI bands that 24 Hour Fitness has. I started by buying a green (which is what I'm used to using at the gym and it's very stretchy) but the online green was way too stiff for the class I take. The yellow is just right. My only complaint is that it's thinner than the green one and doesn't feel like it will last as long, feels a bit chintzy. We'll see. Dec 2014 Still holding up well!

Amazing and convenient product, works well!

Great for exercise. I have a whole bunch of SPRI exercise bands and needed the ultra heavy band (purple) to complete the set. I have been working out with them for 18 months and have never had a problem with any of them breaking, tearing etc. They are sturdy and give you a great workout. I work out pretty hard and I have made slow, but steady muscle gains and overall toning of my body. I highly recommend these bands.

There's a metal ring that is supposed to be sufficient to secure the tubing to the fabric handle. I was doing overhead presses and the tubing ripped the ring loose from the handle, and the tubing/ring ended up slapping me in the arm causing a small bruise. The tubing is still very much intact and so I repaired the thing using a piece of rope to secure the tubing back to the handle. I am very cautious when using it so that if it were to snap again it wouldn't hit me in the eye or something. I'm still able to do overhead presses and curls with it so I guess it's not a total loss considering the convenience of having a good amount of resistance in such a portable package. Overall the Ultra heavy probably needs a better way to secure the tubing to the handle and it would then be an excellent product. I ordered this Spri Ultra heavy because I have a red version and have really appreciated it for a few years now and just wanted something more challenging (I'm a very big/tall guy).

I bought this to take on holiday to enable me to do a strength session when I can't get to the gym. I'm a 124lb woman and it's perfect. I dont think it would suffice for a man. Combined with a booty band, I can do a really effective workout.
