This is just a basic plastic shower curtain. It's not polyester like the description.

To start out with,I have always been attracted to Native American style and patterns for we live in the southwest and I LOVE the kokopelli. We`ve been here for nearly 30 years and in the 1990`s, the style started to fade out, BUT NOT IN MY HOUSE!! This pattern is the prettiest of all patterns to me. Also another starting off is, I have not had a chance to wash this shower curtain, (even thought I gave it 5 stars), for I just bought it but I presume it being kind of a silky material and light weight,there shouldn`t be an issue throwing it into the washing machine. I got it and put it up immediately and then I thought, OH NO, it`s gonna be too dark, for there are many dark colors and we have an older home with NOT the best lighting, BUT, I showered that night I put it up and to my surprise, it was a lot lighter than I thought. The middle is light yellow and light orange and it lets a lot of light in and they are very private. We had a heavier material shower curtain that did block a lot of light. There were so many fun and beautiful choices it was hard to decide and if I had more than 2 bathrooms, I`d get the barn doors and all the other ones. They all look really cool, BUT I`m SO happy with my kokopellis. Yes, they seem to be a good buy and everything seems to be made good and I recommend these type of curtains.

I recently moved back to the desert Southwest and have alternated having my home in both Mediterranean and Southwestern styles.In the guest bath, I decided to go with a Southwestern look and chose this shower curtain. I have to admit that it looks very handsome and even like it's a higher-quality than what I spent. Overall, I'm pleased with its appearance.
