The most incredible second chance Christmas romance!
Matt and Jasmine’s second chance, fake relationship romance was my favourite of the trio! After meeting Jasmine in the first book and seeing more of Matt in the second one, I was really curious to see how their relationship, the drama and the romance would turn out and let me just say that everything about their romance made me so happy.I’ve seen a lot of people say that Matt is like Roy Kent from Ted Lasso and honestly, that is the best comparison ever. Matt is a hockey player, he’s huge and muscular, he’s hot and grumpy and he’s called The Mountain for a very good reason. As the youngest of his family, Matt took off the first chance he got to play professional hockey and he’s made an incredible name for himself. Jasmine’s had a really rough go at it career-wise after the PR company she worked for tanked following multiple blunders and now all she wants is a chance to get back on track, live a semi-decent life and not be scrambling to pay her bills and survive to see the next day. And her only chance to have all of that is Matt, the boy she once dated in high school and the very same boy who’s heart she crushed into tiny little pieces when she broke up with him.I freaking loved their relationship. I loved how awkward and uncomfortable Jasmine was about being around Matt after all these years and I really really loved how stoic Matt was even though every minute spent with Jasmine was a test of his patience and will power. I’m a sucker for second chance romances and Matt and Jasmine have such a wonderful story to tell. And if that’s not enough, there is SO MUCH sexual tension I was gripping my Kindle so hard waiting for them to just kiss the whole time! What I really enjoyed, outside of their slow burn, was how patient Matt was. Jasmine wants him to do a whole bunch of things that he’s not comfortable doing, but because he knows how important it is and how desperately he wants to make her happy, Matt does it all. He works his butt off to make sure that Jasmine smiles and approves of everything he does. Yes, he understands how it’s going to help his family, but for Matt, the focus is so heavily on Jasmine that it made me swoon a couple of times. Also, I want to point out how even though they only dated for a few months in high school, Matt knew everything about Jasmine because even as a teenager who stuck out like a sore thumb, he was head over heels in love with her and her breaking up with him crushed his spirit in ways he never even admitted to himself. And I’m glad that as the conclusion to the Kringle Family series, we got to see more of the family and the interactions with each of them. I loved Matt’s relationship with his father and Ethan, the most, because those really show you who Matt is as a person since he keeps so much of his life and his struggles close to his chest.Gah, this book was the perfect ending for this series. And I loved it so much. All of the Christmas cheer I was missing is now fully embedded in my soul. And I can’t wait to read more fo Julie’s books if they’ve all got this magic touch!

Second chances.
Lovely Christmas read about getting a second chance with the one you let get away. Matt is a big, gruff and adorable. Jasmine comes across as flighty in the beginning but as you get to understand her it’s more about lack of confidence.Lovely characters with a sweet HEA.

Great book
Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.

What to talk about this delicious and refreshing find at the best time of yearJingle Bell Beard brings with it a second chance romance, with relationships and a family so amazing that it makes you want to get into the pages and go to that cozy worldI started this reading thinking "Wow it's going to be a book like any other" but it was more than that, despite having the simplest story in the world, and that's what makes it so good. Seeing the protagonists reuniting and reconnecting after so many years brings a euphoria and a jovial happiness to us readers. We see them fall in love, break up, grow up, have other relationships and get involved again, I used those words because love never left them.Jas and Matt are passionate and the author manages to develop all the feelings in a simple and fluid way that makes you fall in love with every word and feeling uttered. The writing is very simple, fast, and shows many emotions through them, is a book that I indicated and will continue indicating because it brought me a kind of nostalgia and literary passion that I have not felt in a long time.

I guess I'm getting coal in my stocking for writing an unpleasant review for one of my favorite authors. Yep this story was easy to read and a good addition to the series... but I wasn't thrilled with the whole Jingle Bell Beard storyline. So we're happily back in Salt Springs and newly appointed PR manager Jasmine Collingwood is bringing out the big guns to save The Kringle Inn and Tree farm, oh and her career. How? Well she's going to get the prodigal son and her high school boyfriend Matt Kringle to come home.Seventeen years is a long time to be hung up on your ex, yet both Jasmine and Matt are. With his Hockey Career almost over, Matt wouldn't come home to save the family business for his father or siblings, but he did for Jasmine. Nice bloke...Anyways, these two are reunited whilst caught up in the spirit of Christmas and social media. With careers and livelihoods at stake, they enter a fake relationship, even though they're still in love, both are looking for something serious but for some peculiar reason, not with each other. This wasn't bad perse, it was just average. It felt like going around unnecessary circles. You'd think that after all that time apart, you'd be grabbing his baubles with two hands without second guessing every decision.
