I do not really like the format of the left. I found a little uncomfortable to hold. The position of the buttons are not as ergonomic. The buttons on the side of the mouse are not ideal. In short, I expected a little more product.Eu não gostei muito do formato do direcionador. Achei um pouco desconfortável para para o manuseio. A posição dos botões não são tão ergométricas. Os botões da lateral do mouse também não são ideais. Resumindo, eu esperava um pouco mais do produto.

No Longer Absolute Garbage!
UPDATED REVIEWAfter some haranguing and a few misfires Splitfish exchanged my crappy controller for a new one. That was in March 0f 2012.The controller has worked flawlessly since then, (for over a year) through some marathon sessions. What ever was wrong has been fixed.I can now say the review below is no longer applicable. Too bad they didn't get it right the first time.OLD ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS:Once again Splitfish has delivered a great idea made out of junk. I received the controller in August. It is now late October and is malfunctioning with the same symptoms as my previous Splitfish controller: i.e. the on-screen game character (I use it for Battlefield) is jammed and always slides to the left. My guess is a switch inside is stuck, or broken. Whatever.I have never broken a controller, mouse, or keyboard. Yes this is my second Splitfish malfuntion in a year.Years ago when Splitfish was American made, I bought the first controller. It served me faithfuly until Sony did a system upgrade and disabled it.This product is built cheap by people who don't give a damn.Don't waste your money.

Not perfect yet, but it gets the job done.
Works good. Only problem I have is the durability, this is my second unit.No mater how well you take care of it, over time something will go bad.I have been using for so long, I can't play without it.

FragFX PIRANHA - Nothing New or Special, but gets the job done.
This feels in-game just like the Splitfish v.1 which was discontinued ages ago.The physical build is like v.2 which had a terrible firmware/feel.The nunchuck is way too big to grasp... i prefer the smaller one from the v.1 series.Unlike the v.2 the Piranha is stripped of 1. sixaxis/motion controls 2. macro/program feature 3. a mousepad structure that they used to ship with. i guess the price of 49.99 is a good tradeoff for these extra things I never really used.*As usual... it's apparent that Splitfish makes very cheap products. Don't drop it and try not to get it dirty... I've used at least 4 v.1s and 2 v.2s previously and they have broken fairly quickly... from 6months to 1year. I hope the Piranha is different but I doubt it. Splitfish... it would help if you invested more money in making more solid and quality products.*Overall, for my purposes, this works GREAT with Black Ops and Modern Warfare... a must have for any ownage gamer. The firmware that it shipped with was great... very fluid movement. Feels and works like a mouse. I don't notice any twitchiness associated with the v.2 firmwares. I haven't tried any of the firmware updates (if there is) or any of the tweak utilities. This works great for me. It's a simple product that works great with the one and only game that i play seriously - Call of Duty series ... MW2, Blackops, WaW... whatever.I recommend getting a high quality gaming mousepad... as that is what i use on my desk!Shipping was done very quickly as I paid for express shipping. To conclude, I am happy, but I hope Splitfish will take more time to design better quality equipment, and that their customer service would be better (is Darrin the ONLY person on the roster? would be nice if you followed up/called back when you said you would).

Not pro.
The mouse was horrible with simple tracking. Low DPI. The 'ergonomic' design was hard handed. Having to re-adjust from frag mode was impossible and required a cig break. Needless design points were made so why is the overall deaign lacking and at most conflicting....

Great, but needs getting used to
This controller is great, having no obvious dead zone issues (like so many other controllers out there) certainly already puts it above most 3rd person controllers! Although the Piranha is great, all fragfx controller require a deal of getting used to, as it is indeed quite unique and innovative! You will also need to find the sensitivity (in-game and controller) to maximize your gaming potential, which shouldn't be much of a problem. As recommended by another reviewer, (for Call of duty) - put in-game sensitivity to 8 and controller sensitivity to around 2-3 (the little wheel on the nunchuck)This setting should be good enough for most.Definitely recommend this product, considering it will help your gaming performance.PS: Lets just hope it doesn't brake down! (PLEASE!)

As The Years Go By Splitfish Quality Keeps Declining
I've purchased at least 6 controllers from Splitfish over the years. The very first controller they made was the best. While the first controller they came out with lasted 6 months, I was willing to put up with the lack of quality. Now, I only get about 2-3 months out of one controller, and they changed the design for the worse. They are so large now, I can't get my hand around the controller. The controller disconnects often and the calibration is crazy. I'll go into a game and it sticks to the left. I'll go back into the game and its sticks right. I try to use their tweak utility and it does not work. It worked years ago on XP, but these 32 bit and 64 bit are useless and virus-laden. DON'T FIX WHAT IS NOT BROKEN!
