A well-made sports swimsuit but definitely runs small. My 12 year old is petite and the size 12 was quite snug. Athletic cut so not as flattering as a regular swimsuit might be.

I ordered a size 10 and these are more like a 7. I ordered different brands that were 10 and they fit just fine, but these were tight and rode up the backside a lot. We returned it.
