It takes a little bit of adjusting to get good focus if you want to use at a distance. Tried to start a fire as a safety test on paper and tp at full charge. Not as dangerous as description, safe for normal use. I recommend getting safety glasses though

This is an incredibly strong laser and it does burn if you point it at your skin so if you get it you definitely want to wear eye protection if you're shinining it anywhere in the room where you could get reflections. Outside it is powerful enough to hit any object I can see, if I broke out my binoculars I have no doubt that it would be lighting up objects beyond what my eyes can see.

I am writing this review so everyone knows the intensity of this laser and that it can permanently destroy your eyes instantaneously. You MUST be super cautious! No kids. Not a toy. No pets. No reflections. BE CAREFUL!

I love it it. It is so fun to use. It can burn almost anything and can shine super far away.

Although the design of this laser light is pretty cool, it is worth noting that it is self-contained and not possible to open up to access internal parts. On the bright side, the laser itself is highly effective and emits a very bright light. However, it is essential to wear safety lenses while using it. It will burn paper, plastic, and even skin. While it is not recommended to be used as a novelty toy, it can be a great tool for school science projects.

Very good. One problem is that you cannot insert a fresh set of rechargeable batteries. You have to wait for the laser to charge up for hours before using it again. You can only get several minutes of run time.The previous model allowed you to insert fresh recharged batteries.

this “flashlight” is really bright.the little tips it comes with are very neat as well with the different designs but some of them are too small for the opening on the top. also the charging cable is a bit short that it comes with.as a side note, please do not look directly at whatever you are pointing the beam at.

There is no way this laser is claiming the power output it has. It has to be at least 1 watt which is absolutely illegal for handheld lasers. I mainly got this for crows that are cawing and pecking my roof to scare them off. It works perfect for that. It also will easily burn a hole through paper. You do not want to stare at it and I highly recommend using laser safety glasses when using.
