California Costumes Wood Tin Man Axe

This item was purchased for a cos play worked out perfect. Was used for a Joseph Cosplay from the Evil Within

Not sure what they were thinking of when they asked how the Axe fit, but it served the costume purpose. There were so many of these at a lumberjack-themed party last week that we probably skewed the usual sales figures for these things.

This was so cool and realistic looking for a school play where young George Washington chopped down a cherry tree. The student even said that the weight of it felt good and not like a cheap plastic toy (5th graders know everything right?!?)We were pleased and the teacher was pleased. Thanks.

I purchased this axe as a stand-in rehearsal prop for our production of Noises Off. I didn't want to use the more expensive "real" fireman's axe until tech week and after we had learned all the physical business. It will be fine for that purpose but I was expecting a slightly longer handle, This will still be fine for our use and it is extremely sturdy--even better than our "real" axe.

Fun little costume accessory for a good price. I bought them to use in a lumberjack birthday party for my son, and they worked great. They aren't durable enough for kids to be playing with them, my one year old broke the "blade" off the handle when swinging it at my oldest child, but they would work great for costumes or, in my case, party decorations.

It is exactly what the description says. A toy axe that looks like a toy axe. It feels sturdy enough in the hand and certainly looks the part. It can be tossed around, but I imagine a child trying to chop something with it will eventually break it.

It was fine. It's a plastic axe..what else could you want?The only disappointing thing was that this axe is about the length of a grown man's arm (from elbow to tip of the middle finger) and it was packaged in a box that was roughly 4ft X 5ft X 1/2ft .Seemed like a waste of a box for an item so small.

The ax is perfect for the adult costume of the woodsman in Little Red Riding Hood.

Lightweight, medium sized plastic axe! It's as advertised... interestingly it has a removable axe head.
