Hearth & Garden SF40236 Patio Chaise Lounge Cover

Ok, I am very surprised by the quality of these covers. First off, I had to cover 8 bar stools and 2 chaise lounge chairs. Needless to say, this would have cost an arm and a leg. So I took a gamble on these and boy am I happy! They are a much heavier weight material than any others I have seen, including those costing 3 x as much. They are quite large, so they are a little big on my bar stools, but I just tucked them in the bottom part of the chair and voila! Good enough for me. We just had like a week of non stop rain and only a tiny bit of water snuck in one chair. That is impressive. I figured the chairs would have been soaked.As far as the negative reviews... I don't know what these people are talking about! Clearly they have not seen other covers for sale as these far exceed those in places such as Sears, etc. Some claim they have torn. Well, I would say maybe they possibly anchored them way too tight and they went thru a hurricane for that to happen! Otherwise, they must have somehow done something to cause these to tear somehow since I do not see how that's possible.These covers are slightly more gold than beige I would say, but they look nice and I got a complete set. I am sure they will fade (as anything left in the sun day in and out does) so they will probably fade to a nice beige rather than that yucky white color.I do not write reviews often but simply had to on these because I am that impressed!Oh.. FYI.. My chaise was purchased 2 years ago at Costco and is the one with wheels on the back. They fit perfectly (just like the picture). I'm not sure about the fit on a wicker type since they are wider I think. I do think they would work though.

Arrived quickly. It is a bit long for my chaise, but that is not the products problem! But the only thing I wish they'd do is put some kind of loop or some way to hold the cover to the chaise...like velcro loops to go around each leg. This is covering a chaise that is on the patio with shade 90% of the time so I am not concerned about the sun drying it or anything like that, but I have high winds and want the cover to not be blown off...so I have to bungy cord around the top and the foot end to keep it from blowing away...the bungy cords just look tacky but I have to use them till I can figure something else out. But the cover is a good thickness and I can hose it off when dirty.

I ordered another brand before this one and it only lasted one year. This one lasted four years, and I just ordered it again, and am guessing it will last again for another four years! My chair sits out on the back porch 24/7, 365 days a year. I would say for it to last 4 years is just amazing! Protects my chair perfectly and it is easy to pull off and put back on again. I bought the chair that I have in 2011, and this cover has protected it so well that the chair cushions are still like new after 8 years!

I've used the brand and product before. I really liked it, so I reordered it from Amazon!

This chaise lounge cover was actually larger than my chair, but fit well enough. It seemed to be of very good quality canvas-like material with a waterproofing material on the back. It looked great for the first year and a half. By the second year after sitting out in the broiling Florida sun, all the covers began ribbing with the least bit of pull on them. Eventually I had to replace them all.

So I thought this would be perfect for my two lounge chairs whenStacked. This appears to be a nice thickness and perfect size. The only downside is it does not tighten with a drawstring or have straps. I came out the next morning and it had blow off the chairs . Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Delivered on time etc

Bought it for 11.61 a month ago decided for that price it was OK...not great at keeping water off but OK for medium protection...went back to order another one to match and now asking 28.00 for the same one...not quality enough for 28.00 sadly. A little long and floppy and now overpriced.

Bought these because they were inexpensive, and the proper size. My expectation was they would last more than a year, but I was wrong. After about 8 months they started getting moldy on the outside - so I pressured washed them. That kinda helped look better - they had been looking weathered. They are in part shade, part sun, the whole time. Then at about the 12 month mark, the one starting to rip at the corner. Once the rip starts, there is no stopping it...rendering the one end of it useless. Having to look for a more durable cover now, unfortunately.
