I ordered this dress at the last minute, a little nervously since lots of reviews were mixed on sizing up or down. I decided to size down to a medium. Given my 5' 2" 160lbs. pear shape (36-32-43), I felt like a large might be on the long side and I usually don't like the high/low hem style to begin with. It wasn't my first choice because of reviews and the hem style, but needed a dressy option that would arrive on time and could pass as a prom outfit for my wedding anniversary/prom night at WDW-Epcot (checking off "drinking around the world" and redoing "prom night" from our bucket list).What I wanted was ease of movement, comfort and a dressy but understated style. Also, since Central Florida in November is still warm but can get cool by night fall, the material had to be able to meet the weather conditions without me having to drag a jacket around the park.When I received the dress, I immediately noticed the color was a bit off to me. I wanted the navy blue and when I checked my order, I realized that I had ordered the purplish-blue instead. Despite my disappointment, the color was still very nice, so I decided to try it on and it was so close to navy blue that I didn't mind it at all. All this to say that it's more blue than purple if that's important to you.I initially tried it on with a bra and it was a cute fit, cinched my waist and the sleeve didn't feel tight or constricting. It has a nice medium weight to it so material wise it didn't feel heavy or itchy. It has a little give in the arms, but it was just a bit snug in the middle (around the ribs and tummy), however that worked in my favor because I was going to use a shaper and realized I didn't have to (my upper mommy tummy was being held in by the dress)!The high end of the hem hit just at the knee (on the model it hits her mid/upper thigh), so I was hoping for just above the knee, but I've accepted my shortness, so I half expected this.Other observations: it's zippered in the back and helps shape the upper part of the dress.The top of the dress and skirted part are sewn together, so on me the banded seam sits just below the belly button. I would also consider the band is about 1 1/2 inches wide (where the zipper stops and flares out into the skirt part). I'm mentioning this because in bright light I noticed my whole tummy wasn't completely held in, but it wasn't that noticeable to affect my review and the flare is forgiving in that area.The day of, I slipped it on and zipped it up without my bra and found that the girls were secure (I'm a B cup and still perky in the chesticles post 3 babies) so I decided to go braless after asking my hubby if he could tell whether or not I was wearing one. I wore a heeled sneaker with it and managed to pull off a classy look and still be comfy! I think it would be super cute belted, but all the belts I looked at wouldn't have arrived on time and definitely will do that the next time I wear it.Overall I checked off most of my "wants" and I may order a different color in large. Although it was a great fit, the snug waist means there's no room for the days when my body holds a bit of extra water weight, which is at least true for me. My suggestion is to order your true size AND a size down then decide for yourself the best fit.It is a 50/50 shot, but I was pleasantly surprised and understand the reviews a bit better now that I tried it!We received many compliments that day and I felt great in it!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. It's super comfortable, love how the top is snuggled and flows on the bottom. The material is really thick and the cut on the top part is perfect because it will not fall down and the bottom isn't too short. The material is stretchy. I added a belt to give it style.

I loooved this dress. The material has stretch to it, but still looked fitted in the right areas. The length was perfect, not too long and not too short. (I am 5’4 for reference) I like the fact that it was off the shoulder but you could also wear it on the shoulder if you wanted to. The thickness of the fabric was good. It was not see through at all. I feel like it was flattering for my body type and hid my midsection pretty well. I would buy this dress again in other colors!

This is a flattering thick t-shirt dress. The fabric is hard to explain. It isn’t cotton. Reminds me of some brands’ thick compression leggings. But it isn’t activewear either. Poly and spandex for sure. I chose to wear a different dress to my event, but kept this for later. It’s a bit snug in the arms/chest, but the waist and hips fit perfectly due to its A-line shape. I’m a curvy/hourglass 36D, typically 12-14 or L in most other brands. Purchased this in XL (I usually size up on Amazon dresses), but probably would have been more comfortable in an XXL. I have concerns that the XXL might have been too big though. It’s a very flattering dress overall.

Wore it for a wedding. It’s very flattering! The picture doesn’t even do it justice. Fabric is very high quality and on the thicker side. No pockets, but I think it would look weird with them.

It's a very nice dress. Well made and fits well. We just chose the wrong color. The purple is VERY purple. So if u choose that color just know it is very vibrantly colored.

The color and style are great. The material is more flimsy than I was hoping. It also runs bigger than usual Amazon sizes for a medium (I was expecting a size small fit). True to size.

I absolutely love this dress! It looks like a dress from the very expensive line called Misguided. The fit is good. However, I ordered a small, but I think an XS would have been ideal. On me, it runs a bit big but I do have a small frame. Don’t hesitate to buy this dress. It is absolutely stunning! The workmanship and the material is high quality! Everyone needs a dress like this one! It arrived within two days of ordering! Overall, I give this dress and the company that sold it 10 stars ⭐️ out of 5! Thank you so much! I am very happy! I am planning to buy again! All I can say is that it is STUNNING' I wore it once and was continuously complemented on my dress. People asked me if it was a Channel dress? Beautiful! It looked and fit amazing. I looked great in flip flops even.waz I love the side zipper. The material was nice too - hopefully its not flammable- made in China.

Update: the seller was really nice when contacted. I originally gave this dress 1 star because it was not as advertised and was very poor quality. However, the seller was really nice, they provided a full refund to me and did not push me to provide a better review. I chose to give them a better review because of how they handled my return.This dress is not cotton (not even the 60% as the ad claims). It is 100% polyester/spandex mix. The dress comes with a ruched band at the top which is not flattering. I would not recommend this product.

Doesn't look like the description and it looks like it would fit a child. It feels cheaply made and I even requested a refund to which they never gave or acknowledged.

The material is perfect ! Worth the price for sure.It snatches your curves & hides your kangaroo pouch! I’m usually a large & my sister is a medium. But we both decided to size up just in case and we’re both glad we did. This is the only reason it’s not a 10/10. It’s a beautiful dress, I totally recommend it.
