Can-Coctions Ambush Tackle Bag, Gunmetal, 84040.01.100

Well I have to say I'm happy with this tackle bag, it fits my Hobie Outback back storage area and easy to organise my fishing tackle inside while kayak fishing. the only downside is that the stitching of the bottom plate allows water to enter the bag, as the water accumulates in the back storage area of the kayak it enters the bag. I had to apply a water resistant glue over the stitching at the bottom and on the vertical stitching at the 4 corners, then I covered the glue with water proof duct tape, the bag doesn't look nice after the DIY modification but at least it does not allow for any water to enter and my tackle is protected. It is still one of the best kayak fishing tackle bags in the market, I just hope NRS take care of the water issue in their future products.

Like the bag overall. I was under the impression the bag was waterproof. The bag is not water proof. Water seeps through the bottom of the bag. I wish the rod holders where in a different location. It makes it always to use them since they are in the back. I only fish the ocean so I can't really turn around and put the rods in. If you fish fresh water this probably won't be a problem for you. And it is awkward to zip up the bag. The zipper has a hard time going around the corners.

I’m very happy with this bag! Made extremely well and holds all my tackle for my kayak.
