Nature's Gate Herbal Daily Conditioner, 1 Gallon

I've used this conditioner for over 30 years ! It is the BEST ! Gets the tangles out after shampooing, leaves my hair silky soft and smelling sooooo good ! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT !

OMG! I have been using this conditioner since high school, which is now over 30 years ago. It was one of the mainstays of my grooming regime. I always liked the smell and back in the 70's NG was one of the first companies to recognize those of us that would rather do without all the chemicals found in most hair products. I would apply it and instantly feel my hair go silky smooth, you didn't have to leave it on and work it in to take effect. Later in life I started working a small amount in after towel drying. I have always wore my hair long, partly because I was able to take well care of it. I just worked my way through another gallon and bought a small bottle until I ordered another gallon online. OMG!!!! What have they done!???!!! No matter what, commerce is all about money so somehow, somewhere the bean counters and marketing execs that don't use the product got involved and they have created an abomination. The stuff used to look like porridge but the consistency was beneficial to applying it. Now its this sickly gel crap that doesn't spread. I thought maybe I had a bad bottle that was overexposed to heat. Upon applying it my hair instantly turned coarse and bristly. I was shocked. I immediately rinsed my hair and found that I had tangles and a sticky feeling to the comb dragging through my locks. I can afford whatever product I want and have even bought salon brands costing over $50 per bottle in the past to see if I was really getting the best conditioner for my hair. I always came back. But alas, this company, instead of adding some new version to the product line, has defiled probably the best conditioner ever made. I will never use this product or any other Nature's Gate product again. Sad sad sad.

While a good value, this conditioner has a strong medicinal smell. It bothered me all day after I used it, and took washing two additional times with another shampoo to remove the smell. I threw it away.

I am phasing out synthetics in our household and needed to find a new conditioner that was mostly organic and not super expensive. This conditioner is only "okay"--the smell is super intense and with my hair and hard city water it doesn't work well. I've used other scents of Nature's Gate conditioners which weren't as intense and also seemed to be thicker. This conditioner is thin and doesn't leave my hair feeling conditioned much. I won't use this exact NG product again, too bad I bought a whole gallon!

I looked for this for years because it is no longer available in my area stores.I love the fragrance, very light and like sweet herbs, not perfumy.Does a decent job as a conditioner also.This will last me forever.

I have used this product for years. My hair feels wonderful after I use it. I would recommend it to anyone.

totally didnt realize i needed a pump for this thought they would send one with it. other than that freakin great. my hair has never had so much volume in my life. i use no products in my hair nor do i use a blow dryer. i tend to get oily hair too and this doesnt make my hair do that! so happy!!
