Ampro A1441 PTFE Seal Tape 1/2-Inch X 260-Inch

Bought this to stop the leaks that comes out of the hoses at every joint. This helped tremendously. I had to put several layers on the threads on some connections. The only downfall is it seems its only good for one or two uses. Once you disconnect the hose, it mangles the tape pretty good and has to be reapplied to keep the seal.

I originally bought a roll of this to put a new showerhead up in my mom's apartment, but when we moved her in, the hot water line to the washing machine was leaking, this fixed it right up. Then it was used on the showerhead and worked perfectly, it's a good brand, doesn't stick to your fingers too much. Then my wife decided to change our showerheads and I used it to seal those too. I don't have any complaints about it. It gets the job done as it should.

I didn't actually need this tape at the moment, but I had to add to my cart, to get the free shipping on something else I was buying. I chose this because I used all the plumbers tape I had, last year. In the picture it looks like it has more, but it does say there's 260 inches , which is quite a lot, hopefully I won't have to use it for a long time.

A good quality thread sealer tape. I haven't had any problems with it. As with all "teflon" tape, I hate the plastic cover will now stay on the roll! A very handy buy if you don't have time to get to the hardware store.

Worked for me. Although its silly to need a 25 word review just to submit that it does what it is supposed to do.

It does what it's supposed to. That's all that mattered to me. Sealed my girlfriend's new shower head with it.

Bought this for a shower head I just bought. A tad on the expensive side. But did the job really well.

This is plumbers tape. It seals. And it's cheap. And it's not different than any other pipe tape. Except it's from Amazon and therefore cheaper. That makes it awesome. If you need some, you should buy some. And then use it. And then rate it.
